Hi all,

So about 8 months ago for a bit of fun I started writing. Some are autobiographical, others completely imagined scenarios. Overall it’s been a really positive experience for us as a couple, but in the last week I’ve been a little shocked at the comments under some stories.

Rampant slut shaming, misogyny and appalling assumptions about us, our sex life and the level of promiscuity in our relationship. We probably shouldn’t care, the internet casts the net pretty wide but i suspect like most couples, this is just an avenue for a bit of fantasy play and fun which is why it’s so disappointing, it’s kinda taken the shine off it all a bit.

We are really proud of our little stores, they are hardly lighting the boards up, but we do aim for them to be respective and empowering which is why the comments were so vile.

I was actually wondering if half the issue is the categories. Loving wives seems to not quite fit the description and is a little gender in balanced. I might be completely heading down the wrong path (we are completely new to this) but could there be a different category? Maybe a female friendly/body positive/ etc one?
Again, appreciate people may have strong views, but would love to know thoughts.

Thanks so much

This would probably be a lot more interesting to me if it was posted in the Author's forums where I wouldn't have to read it. :)
