your talent for irony could work well with a celebrity story where you have fun with the perception of them-for instance, the seduction of a star perceived to be " pure"- you could then either have them turn wanton, or regret the experience. Conversely, you could take a star perceived to be sluttish and put them in a romance situation. what if Madonna was really " Like a Virgin?".
Another character driven approach is to" use" a familiar scenario with a twist. I'm thinking for instance of the Faith Hill video where she acts as a waitress. You could do a story based on the video shoot, with her talking to others about her days as a real waitress before she became a star- the sex part of the story becomes almost incidental. The extreme opposite would be the filming of the Sharon Stone flashing scene in " Basic Instinct"- with so many retakes, the guys get so hard they start jerking off on set- and the suspense is who ends up licking her wetness.
