Hello all!
Well, I just want to share thoughts on this matter...
In the vast majority of stories I have read, there is something bugging me: female characters being unidimensional.
Let me explain...
There are various ways to introduce sex in stories:
1) "I am a horny female and I want to have sex" = about 60% of stories
2) "I am a 'normal' female, I don't want to have sex at first and hesitate for a whole 2 lines before going at it!" = about 35% of stories
3) "I am a 'normal' female, I want/don't want to have sex at first. One way or the other, it takes some time for me to actually go at it" = about 5% of stories
As a result, to me, almost all female characters are the same, unidimensional: a character admittedly having no other purpose than to fuck/get fucked, or such a character faking for a whole 2 lines to be different.
Re-reading myself, I see I might sound bitter or aggresive. I am not.
I am just interested to hear about people feeling the same way as I do (*crickets chipping*) and hear about people actually preferring these female characters I deem unidimensional.
Thanks!
