I came to Literotica last November when I did an internet search and found a topic by Charley H entitled “Nude Beauty: male vs. female.” That topic inspired me to start a topic entitled “The Male Form.” A basic idea behind the topic I started is that “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” and that as beauty does not exist within a person or object a person cannot be objectively beautiful, attractive or ugly. This is because what one person may see as beautiful or attractive another may see as ugly. That is beauty, attractiveness or ugliness are not objective qualities, but are subjective to the viewer. If one person or if many people perceive that something or somebody is beautiful, attractive or ugly, etc. that doesn’t mean that that the something or somebody is beautiful, attractive or ugly, etc. because it doesn’t mean that everyone feels that same way. Also when using the terms male or female form I mean the face, head and body and either the dressed or nude form.

Next I decided to start a topic about women, which I entitled “Women.” What I started with was stories about women and how I felt that there were many more movies about men than women. This was a more general topic than the first one and I included the female form, but not only that of young, thin, females who had light complexions. The first link I posted in regard to the female form was to a video entitled “Beautiful Older Women of the World,” which is just under 4 minutes long and was put together by Angela Gentile, see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QD6L82Ge76I&t=7s.

I started on “Author’s Hangout” as that was where the original topic was posted.

Moonlight and Roses (Tom),

Is there a question here?

In Vietnam a gal sent me a photo of herself, it made me nauseous. My sergeant looked at it and said, "God damn." Never seen any woman uglier.

Aguagal, no question, just an experiment. Thanks for asking.

Silver gurl, Thanks for your comment.

Moonlight and Roses (Tom),
Random naked men are gross.

Keep your shirts on if you want to look sexy.

Hashtag, thanks for posting about the subject matter of this topic. I believe there are many people who feel as you do that “Random naked men are gross,” but I don’t believe that you or they were born with a predisposition toward feeling that way otherwise the human species would have disappeared long ago. Reading your profile I saw that you are “. . . skilled and interested in the sociological aspects . . .” so I wonder if you have thought whether the feeling that "Random naked men are gross” is an acquired feeling.

Moonlight and Roses,

PS, To all this board seems to move fast so people posting to this thread helps keep it in view.

I bought a battery powered weed eater.

Hopefully I will not regret that decision. The electric one had plenty of power for the job but getting the line to feed out was like pulling teeth. Some of the gas models were quite nice and would obviously do the job but they are heavy. Life it too short for heavy weed eaters.

I was rude sorry.
In saying that, I'll be straightforward about what I think:

I think that those men who post sexy naked or semi- naked selfies don't understand much about female psychology, and what women find to be sexy.
I suspect that as far as phisique is concerned, and in contrast to men, for many women it's "less is more ".

I noticed that some Lit. women claim that no, they respond to the same cues as men do, but I'm a bit skeptical about that.

The head rotates for edging. It has little wheels to guide it for the edging operation. 20V lithium.

I will test it out once the batteries charge.

It could use a little more pep but for the most part it works like a dream. It is light enough to use for an extended amount of time. The helix plastic line did the job. Battery lasted long enough to get around the yard.

The included battery powered blower lacked a little zip but scared the shit out of the dog.

Two thumbs up.

Give me a little more, I'm almost there.

I find that the key to the female heart is boasting about how handy you are with tools and being a good earner, even if you're part of the Soprano crew...

:D :D :D

We have many males pretending to be females here if that's what you're into.

Hashtag, you certainly was not rude and you don’t have to be sorry. I was happy to read your comment and it made sense to me. People are different and people can like or dislike different things. I believe that the way people feel about things, such as what is attractive, but also as to stories about women, is largely due to an interaction between nature (what people are born with) and nurture (people’s experiences after birth), thus in different cultures people would tend to feel differently. I believe that in our culture women are “suppose” to feel and act differently than men and that people are “suppose” to feel and act the same as other members of their sex. So, there is a female way of feeling and acting and there is a male way of feeling and acting. In my opinion this is largely due to the norms of our culture. Each woman is an individual so I expect that each woman would feel somewhat differently about things. Also, when I refer to a person, female or male, as being beautiful or attractive, I do not necessarily mean in a sexual way, even if that person is naked. Finding a nude person or image of a nude person attractive doesn’t necessarily mean they are sexually attractive. The art critic John Berger wrote that “Men act, Women appear.” To a large extent this is the case for our culture and this norm affects the way that women and men are seen. So, people do not always see the beauty in the nude male form and there are many fewer movies about women as compared to those about men. This is what I write about in the two topics I referred to in my first post to this topic and this is why I see them as complements to each other. So Hashtag thank you very much for your comments.

Moonlight and Roses,

The difference between pics of nekid men and women is simple. One is art. The other is flashing.

Christobal, thank you for your comment. I also “. . . like people that are open to new ideas” and “. . . people that can change my mind.” :)

Moonlight and Roses,

HisArpy, So you are saying that pics of nekid men is art and pics of nekid women is flashing?
