Fellowship of the Ring 4 Disc Box-Set

cause you'll be here posting

I've got the early morning of the 17th clear and my ticket purchased.

I'll use the free one for a repeat viewing.

I am totally fucking thrilled with this edition. The movie is completely moving as it is, as the book was, and they only made it better by bringing in the richness of those cut scenes.

I have been watching the documentaries and am so enthralled.
I can't wait for the 12.17!

I bought it, thinking, "It's gonna be awesome, &, I get to save 5 bucks on my TTT's ticket." Think AGAIN!!!!!!! Only SELECTED theaters can you use it. NONE of those theaters are local. I'm still kinda pissed about it.

I waited to see the movie until I had the set.

Enjoyed the movie almost as much as the book, almost. Still not the same, but other than Liv Tyler, who is beginning to bloat like the rest of the women in her family, the casting is great! Although Patrick Stewart as Gandalf would have been an awesome choice.

Movie STILL TOO short!

:D

I'm going to give away the tickets. I never go to the theater. Ever.

Did they edit the extra footage right into the film or is it clumped at the end?

I'll see it either way but it would be nice to see the longer version as a whole.

A quick gloat then you can get back to it.

Having seen only the box set, I'd have to say that it's in the movie since the movie is on two CD's. The other disks seem to be a flow chart for the making of the movie.

They even made a movie in Kansas. I got to be an extra. They needed Indians and they're in short supply in Kansas. Shoulda made the film in Oklahoma. Indians they got! :D
