Why is it easier to make connections here on lit than it is on dating sites?
Of course the downside is that the deeper the connection the deeper it hurts if that connection is suddenly cut off, no matter how prepared you may be.

On that lovely note, I feel ready to make some true connections if there is any interest. I am fairly busy as of late so am not looking for an every night conversation. Also looking for more than just sex chatting.

I think the combination of anonymity and that we all know the nature of the site we’re on makes diving right into a connection with another person feel easier. Both making and breaking that connection.

Makes sense. It does seem to cut down on some of the small talk and get to know you questions. And while there are those that want to just talk or have sex... it does provide an opening to a deeper level of conversation
