My Sci-Fi stories that get published on SF sites garner a fair number of thoughtful criticism, both positive and negative.

Other than a few responses from fellow writers with whom I play on AH, I have received but one single feedback message.

If I am to believe that the person writing was serious, she or he wished to learn where one could purchase a mechanical toy, such as I had ‘invented’ for my story.

If they truly believed that such equipment exists, I don’t mind that they failed to mention their opinion of my writing.
