Just posted my first new story of 2019 coming off my near miss in placing in the holiday contest. I went in a different direction this time after multiple romance stories. This one is sort of an homage to the X-Files a show I truly loved before all the conspiracy theory stuff took it off rails.

Overall good.

Some notes:
Lieutenant is probably too low of a tank to Lord over anyone.
Make him a captain at least. I'd probably have his boss be a colonel
