I noticed there was no set writing style for the roleplaying. You went right into the story in your first post and then the second post was an OOC which was followed by a bunch of asterisks (I'm not sure what the author there was going for, but it sure doesn't flow very well imo).

I wonder if the roleplay would go better if your first post stated some rules giving direction as to how to properly use asterisks, when and if to use OOC statements (they really aren't necessary) and how you want the writing to be styled (like a regular story with proper paragraphs and quote marks around a character's comments, or like a play/screenplay). This first post could also suggest types of characters needed in the story, etc. Flesh it out a little bit.

For example, this is something I did when I was roleplaying in Imperial Galaxy:



Rules:
- No OOC statements. If you need to leave the rp for any length of time you can write yourself out of the rp. (ex: Ingmay abruptly stood and announced she was leaving. Without looking at anyone she flounced out the door.)
- This is my personal quarters. No, you can't just walk in unannounced. Please knock first and wait to be let in.
- Do not EVER make another character do something without that character's player giving expressed permission beforehand!!! There is nothing more irritating than having someone knock me out with one punch when I know I can take a lot more than that!
- If you god-mod, please be assured you will be kicked from the roleplay. Nobody is all-powerful and if I shoot you in the eye multiple times, then you are dead. End of story.
- asterisks, underlines, bolding, and italics should be used sparingly and only to draw attention to a word or phrase. Please don't go overboard on their use.

Setting:
Shaizh's quarters on board her ship, The Purple Dragon. A pad is attached to the wall outside the quarters right beside the door that says,
"In the event that I am out, please leave a note and I'll get back to you ASAP."
Inside is a spacious living area furnished with deep, soft sofas and chairs, a glasstop coffee table, a mounted videscreen and a faux fireplace. Nicknacks and plants interspersed with books and the odd objet d'art litter the shelves and small tables in the room.
Three doors lead out of the room. One door leads to an office complete with large black desk and chair. A computer sits on the desk with the Imperial logo prominently displayed. Another door leads to a small head and the other to a bedroom/playroom.



The following post would be an introductory post for the story. It's only a suggestion, but I think this format might work better?
