So far I've ended up receiving feedback from:

A semi-famous gay and lesbian rights activist
A professor of Byzantine art
An airhostess with Singapore Airlines
Someone who's represented India in the long jump
A lesbian painter
A Saudi guy, looking for a fifth wife
Someone working for NASA

The people in question haven't told me themselves - it's what I've discovered from googling their names. Has anyone else ever done this and come up with some interesting results?

I think we share a fan - I'm fairly certain I've had feedback from your Porfessor of Byzantine art before.

Does he happen to write smutty fanfic, too?

You say google rather than look at the profile --

I'm showing my tech stupidity, but: how do you find the real name to do the google? I'd love to find out who some of them are.

A LOT of alcoholics, a couple software writers, some narcotics abusers, a group of gamblers, the author of The Computer Privacy Handbook, Sexual Compulsives, Lip Balm Addicts....

I searched "Anonymous". ;)

How did you leave it with him? Should the team up for L&V's wedding book flights to Riyadh? :)

No... the wedding's off  He suggested I should go to the doctor to find a cure for my 'sickness' of only being into women. It sounded like a fun bed to be in if I managed to kick him out of it, though :p

It depends. Sometimes their return email address contains a full name. Other times I've written back to say thank you, and they write another email back from their account, which has their name as the sender.

sheesh.. you guys are lucky.. the people who reply to my stuff seem mostly illiterate... and violent!

I get a lot of anon feedback that ask questions. Don't they realize you can't answer them? lol

He was considering writing smut when he wrote to me, but was worried about people finding out due to his position. I told him that I've stayed hidden for three years and that he should go for it.

I don't ask... they don't tell me.

Sincerley,

I'm afraid to ask most of the time and several names that have come up.... well, lets just say, if I spoke the names... wild and weird shit would happen, not to mention, I'd have to kill myself.... ands anyone that heard them...

Hell, if I Google my real name, I get 580,000 hits. I'm a fairly famous artist, an architect, a professor of sociology in California, a British voice-over artist, and a whole bunch more.

I don't know how I find the time.

But there's only one Dr. Mabeuse! (well, 2 actually, but the other one's dead.)

The best feedback I've ever recieved is from Dr. Mabeuse. I'm counting his 580.000 hits as votes on my own stories. :nana:
