Links etc

They are under the Mature category, only one there at the moment, I have submitted two tonight. Cheers

Good idea, nitengale! Now we need an updated membership list right here, on this first page...

I have been slowly working my way through the list, too, but i've been hopping and skipping and jumping around. I'll stop that immediately and get back on the straight and narrow, okay? I'm also trying to read something every day from the New Stories list and respond fairly quickly to stories people send me to have a look at before submission (usually to verify BDSM details). So, i'm getting to yours, honest!

Im still here (barely)

My brains gone AWOL at the moment, work hassles, but I will
try and get back to some feedback soon, I might even write a new story who knows.

In meantime, welcome to KillerMuffin (can I help wash ur truck?) and SteveM.

I will email the people list to Nitengale to insert in the first post of this thread.

Keep walking past the windows people!

Cactiphile

Please remember that feedback is a two way street!

I believe I have given something to everyone on the list, if not, please let me know. With the interuption in the mail service, I lost my "sent" list.

If I missed you, please let me know here or via email, and I will get it to you asap :)

Beware: Edit Help for Graphic Non Consent

Hiya all!

I have just finished a graphic non consent story and could really use some help editing it. The gal that has always helped out editing for me can't do this one because of her own personal reasons so if anyone can volunteer, I sure could use the help.

Thanks all!

*tapping my fingers impatiently*

Still waiting nitengale :)

Hi everyone... besides posting to my SRP's.... I have been kinda offline..
I promise to do some feedback tomorrow... :)
and thanks for all the feedback that has been sent :)

Hi Kymberly...

If you're still looking for an editor, I'd be willing to help.

circe!

SteveM and saharrah, you've got mail.

I'm slogging through the list jaggedly, picking and choosing based on nothing more than impulse and mood. It seems to be taking a long time to get through it all; my apologies. Nothing personal, honest.

http://cwm.ragesofsanity.com/otn/confused/aeh.gif I tend to read stories by people who read mine, selfish but true. Some of you have already said you don't want to read the kind of stuff i write. It's better for both of us if you don't, quite frankly, but you don't really expect me to read yours in that case, do you? This is, after all, a voluntary and cooperative endeavor.

There are some *wonderful* writers represented on this list. It's been extremely pleasureable to read some of your stories. (No, no, not pleasurealbe like *that*!)(Ummm... well... yeh, okay, maybe just exactly like *that*.)

To all those of you who read my story "Ain't nothing like the first time" and who gave me feedback, a really huge thanks and a certified smile of appreciation. The criticisms I got about run-on sentences and some with no real meaning was very valid and has helped me a lot, so thank you to those of you who gave those bits, you know who you are!

As for the other feedback all I can say is a big big WOW! I feel that if I can write another story that gets the responses this one has, I will be a very happy sometime writer. From the anonymous comments, all those who read the story and who signed their comments "anonymous" well, it seems as though absolutely all of you really loved this story and I feel priviliged and blessed to have connected with you. All the the other comments, the ones with names attached to them, have also been all good and I thank all of you who not only took the time to read what I wrote but who also took the time to write your comments and send them to me, a major thanks to all of you as well.

I really love this feature of literotica and it seems that those members who are into this feedback thread are serious and involved and I love being connected to that energy. I am looking forward to reading more from all of you!

thank you all so much!

I got wonderful feedback from someone today. It said, in essence, that she had read some of my BB posts so went to go see what my stories were like and (~grin~) though the subject matter wasn't to her taste, she liked my writing style and "found the story interesting to say the least."

That kind of feedback is so valuable to me because i *know* my subject matter isn't going to appeal to about... oh... hmm... maybe 75-85% of the people who come here looking for something hot to read. If however, they struggle through it if only to give me some kinda feedback on writing style (personal taste) or my deplorable grammar (all over the place, except for the one KM edited) or even misspellings (i don't think so!), then it's feedback that's valuable to me.

We don't have to like each other's subject matter to be able to offer constructive criticisms.

This seems to have slowed down recently....is everyone still going on behind my back ? :)

Funny you should mention this...but I feel as if I have been giving much more than I have been getting in return.

I'm Back

Sorry Guys, I had to take some time to get my head together. I have also changed email addresses. I won't post it here for fear of having to change again, but I will reply to feedback from my new address and will give my new address to the people I give feedback to from this list.

Thanks to everyone who has given me feedback and if you have sent feedback and not recieved a reply from me then I didn't get your feedback due to email problems.

Me too...wierd eh?
Some people jus haven't replied and it's been a looong time since i sent them feedback....ah well...

heartfelt apology

I'm sorry, honestly, for not moving through the list with more rapidity. I've got an everyday-life writing seminar at a local university that suddenly taking *much* more of my thinking/writing time than i'd anticipated it would. With the leftover time, i'm trying to move my chapter for the Lit Chain story along (collaborative effort among 14 or so Lit writers, each taking a chapter). Consequently, i have *not* been attending to what we do here as much as i should, a thing i recognize.

I, too, am finding it funny that what feedback i have been sending out hasn't even been acknowledged, for the most part. Why not? Think people will continue to send you feedback if you can't even take a couple minutes to say "thanks for reading my stuff"?

Cym...everyone has "outside of this board and circle" obligations! I do too! My thanks to you for taking the time to even let us know you are still here but busy!! (totally acceptable) I agree, letters to the reviewers are important, especially since a lot of work goes into reading and then writing up the review.

I'll share what I do with the reviews as it might be helpful for new writers. I have copies of all my stories in a looseleaf binder, and as the feedback comes in, I take the comments and place them in the margins of the story they are reviewing. Then it serves as a great reference later if that particular problem/question arises again. With any luck, my writing is improving as I move forward with it. :)

I know that when this circle was in the early stages we had many problems with the mail here, so if my "thank you" never got to you, here it is THANKS! for the review!!

I want to thank those of you who have bothered to read my stories and reply to me with feedback. I know they're not to everyone's taste but i appreciate your ability to surmount your personal preferences in order to try to help me.

http://cwm.ragesofsanity.com/otn/sad/sulkoff.gif That said, i request that you drop me from the list of those involved with the Feedback Circle.

I'm not getting enough feedback to warrant my continuing to read and respond to list members. It's a time-sink for me without any real return. Those who are willing to provide feedback in a you-scratch-my-back-and-i'll-scratch-yours manner have already done so. Most of the list members, though, to be honest, don't seem to be so inclined OR they have decided not to read my stories OR they're too busy OR whatever. In all cases, it's a better use of my time and energy to read where i will and respond as i always do then to continue along this path.

I wish you all well, nevertheless. Happy reading.
Adios!

sadly...

I am following in Cym's footsteps. I feel I have given up enough of my free time to read stories of other's here, and the feedback has been too scarse heading in my direction. The true workings of a "circle" is not working.

Thanks to those WHO did take the time to read my stories and get back to me. It has been extremely helpful to have others input and I did learn!

It's a shame that this has dried up...i've shared some good correspondance with some of the people here....and hopefully they won't mind keeping in touch...i ws actually planning to read some more of your stuff pretty soon nitengale so if you don't mind I'll be in touch?
