Biden states the obvious

Children should not be caught in the crossfire of immigration.

But only Congress can ensure a permanent solution by granting a path to citizenship for Dreamers that will provide the certainty and stability that these young people need and deserve.

The President has no authority to make law. We have a legislature for that purpose. It's obvious Obama acted illegally and he knew it when he did it. This is one step towards restoring judicial integrity to our immigration process:

“From this date forward, the United States of America, its departments, agencies, officers, agents, and employees are hereby enjoined from administering the DACA program,”
