Lets understand this; If the court did rule in favour of Trump. That would leave the door open for Biden to send a Seal Team 6 to take Trump out, with no legal recourse....from a democratic point of view, this would be a win win!!

PS if had been on the court that is the hypothetical I would have asked, while smiling politely at Trump.

"So if this court is agreement with your opinion that a President in the course of his duties could send a Seal Team 6 to take out his political rivals, with no legal oversight except Congress and Impeachment, then what today is stopping President Biden, from giving such an order".

Jamie Raskin, a congressman, expanded on this today. If this were followed logically and Trump was in power, he could use Seal Team 6 to eliminate rivals and then look at Congress, pick off those who might vote for his impeachment, and take them out before his trial - thus negating a conviction since enough Congressmen who think like him would have the voting power to deny his impeachment conviction thereby eliminating criminal charges against him from being filed.

Talk about having total power over a nation without guiderails on the Executive Branch!
