You cannot very well, tell the POTUS to fuck off and get lost!
No government official would dare say that to tRump's face.

And yet, U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch was faced with this choice.

As POTUS, Bill Clinton wanted to keep diplomatic relationships open.
It would not do, if he snubbed his own A.G.

She is aboard her jet, and he is on his very own Presidential jet,
at the Phoenix airport. Having a polite conversation, in the
107F heat on the hot runway is not sensible.

She said yes, to the POTUS coming aboard her jet.
Everyone aboard her jet was introduced, and greeted by him.
Most of the crew was gone, because everybody wanted to leave!

Bill Clinton is from another planet, than she is.
His job is to meet and greet. Her brain is always
functioning on full alert, concerning legal matters.

Bill Clinton could not take a hint ?

(Would it have been rude of her, to tell Clinton that they had very little time to talk ?)

LYNCH: And then ultimately, one of my staffers came on to assist with that,
to say, “We all have to move onto our evenings,” and even then, we had to say,
“We’re going to leave now. It’s time to move on.”

And ultimately, we all moved on to our evenings, but the issue for me after that
wasn’t so much about my own thoughts or concerns for myself, but concerns for
the Department of Justice, and for concerns for any perceptions that that was
going to give the American people, that the email investigation was going to
be affected or impacted in any way by that.

Late Thursday evening, the president tweeted his opposition to the bill, calling it the ‘‘BAD DEMOCRAT Disaster Supplemental Bill’’ and urging House Republicans to vote against it. Hours later, around 11 p.m., he added that his party ‘‘must stick together.’’

But in a rebuke to the president, 34 House Republicans joined all Democrats to pass the sweeping disaster relief package 257-150. Some of Trump’s most loyal conservative supporters broke with the president, favoring their districts’ needs over the president’s demands, including Iowa’s Steve King.

Congress has reached a last-minute deal to provide $19.1 billion

It is Friday, the day when Trump's pet senators and representatives do something under-handed and harmful.

A single Republican U.S. Congressman has just blocked a critical
$19.1 billion disaster relief funding bill that would help Americans
whose lives were devastated by hurricanes, floods, and wildfires.

May, 24, 2019

“After President Trump and Senate Republicans delayed
disaster relief for more than four months, it is deeply
disappointing that House Republicans are now making
disaster victims wait even longer to get the help they need,”

Actually I don’t know if we can even say Republicans plural.
It was one in particular, Rep. Chip Roy, who blocked
unanimous consent.

Everyone is back in their districts so they can’t
pass the bill through a normal vote

8:09 AM - 24 May 2019

Rep. Chip Roy (R-Tex.) voted to block the legislation,
which has the support of President Trump and easily
passed the Senate on Thursday

Only one vote was needed to defeat the motion because
House leaders were attempting to pass the measure
by unanimous consent. Most House lawmakers left town
Thursday before Senate negotiators announced they’d
reached a disaster aid deal, making a full vote impossible
without recalling lawmakers.

Following Roy’s objection, the House ended its session.
The House is set to have another “pro forma” session —
one with few lawmakers present — on Tuesday,
at which time they plan to again try to pass the legislation
by unanimous consent.

The full House is not due back in Washington until June 3.

One Republican's Objection Delays Disaster Relief Bill Once Again

Representative Chip Roy objected to a procedural vote that would
have allowed the House to give its unanimous approval to a disaster
aid bill.

New York Times

May 24, 2019

Texas Republican Chip Roy, a former aide to Texas firebrand Sen. Ted Cruz, objected to speeding the measure through, to a nearly empty chamber

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., accused
Democrats of insisting on “poison pills” that made the talks collapse.

But his office wouldn’t go on the record to specify what they were.

Other Republicans, especially those trying to project a bipartisan image for next year’s campaign, were more circumspect.

The total dollar amounts are pretty close on border security.

Democrats and Republicans are pretty much
in agreement about it,” said Sen. David Perdue.
“We’re just trying to work out some detailed language,
but we didn’t think we could wait any longer to get this done.”

All sides agree that another bill of more than $4 billion will be needed
almost immediately to refill nearly empty agency accounts to care for
migrants, though Democrats are fighting hard against the detention
facilities requested by Trump.

Trump rushed to try to claim credit, too, though his budget office never
submitted an official request for the disaster aid.

http://time.com/5595609/chip-roy-blocks-disaster-aid-bill/

Why did Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) do it ?

He spoke to at least two people before he blew up a bipartisan deal.

Who, in the Republican leadership would encourage Chip Roy to blow it up ?

Who was in the chamber, when he pulled this stunt ?
The chamber was nearly empty.

Pelosi Statement on House Republican Sabotage of Bipartisan Disaster Relief Bill - Speaker Nancy Peolosi

Washington, D.C. – Speaker Nancy Pelosi issued this statement after House Republicans objected to a disaster relief bill that the bipartisan Senate had just overwhelmingly agreed to:

Nancy Pelosi Nancy Pelosi @SpeakerPelosi

“House Republicans’ last-minute sabotage of an overwhelmingly bipartisan disaster relief bill is an act of staggering political cynicism. Countless American families hit by devastating natural disasters across the country will now be denied the relief they urgently need.

“Our Democratic House passed two strong disaster relief bills this year to provide help and healing to families hit by floods, hurricanes, wildfires and other disasters. Now, after the President and Senate Republicans disrupted and delayed disaster relief for more than four months, House Republicans have decided to wage their own sabotage. Every day of Republican obstruction, more disasters have struck, more damage has piled up and more families have been left in the cold.

“Every House Republican needs to answer to the American people why they are standing in the way of urgently needed disaster relief for families struggling to heal and recover.”

"We don't have any evidence that it's necessary. Its purpose is to interfere with the legitimate practice of a profession and the constitutional rights of people," said Sen. Nathan Johnson, D-Dallas. The timing is perfect. Meghan Markle will not be forced to be in the same room as the American- Goon- in Chief.

The Queen, Prince William and Duchess Catherine, will be babysitting the American Goon

Prince Harry will host Trump for a private lunch, Prince William and Catherine will attend a welcome ceremony at Buckingham Palace and have tea with them the next day.

Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, will be continuing her maternity leave with newborn son, Archie Harrison.

"And although Meghan does indeed have a legitimate reason for forgoing the presidential visit, fans note that the Duchess has been vocal about her dislike of Trump in the past, which makes for convenient timing."

The rules for royal maternity leaves, the mark generally sits around six months—based off of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, anyway.

However, as the event is held on the balcony of Buckingham Palace in front of thousands of screaming fans and a procession of troops through the streets of London, baby Archie won't be joining his mother on the trip.

Those types of events, where troops may applaud their commander in chief, run the risk of appearing to voters as an endorsement, said Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.), a former Marine and member of the House Armed Services Committee.

Meanwhile, partisan comments amid a splash of military imagery has filtered down to the president’s son. Donald Trump Jr., a top campaign surrogate, appeared on “Fox and Friends” last month during Fleet Week in New York City.
