FEC Chairwoman politely tells 45 in writing: "Put up or shut up!"

We all know 45 spends most of his time in a fog between twisting truth into a Gordian Knot that fits his rhetoric of the day and just flat-out lying. One of his favorite escapes from reality is to go on unhinged rants about voter fraud and how "he was cheated" in 2016. After his latest reincarnation of ridiculous claims at his New Hampshire ego rally last week, FEC Chairwoman Ellen Weintraub decided enough is enough.

Weintraub professionally stated her case in a letter sent to 45 on Friday while reiterating this wasn't the first time she has asked him to provide anything that actually resembles facts or evidence of his bombastic claims, something 45 always seems to have a problem with on most everything he says or does. The true gem comes in her closing line of the letter.....

“To put it in terms a former casino operator should understand: There comes a time when you need to lay your cards on the table or fold.”

That would be where the mic does a couple of bounces on the floor. Pretty sure 45 won't be picking it up either.

Trump on Thursday asserted at a rally in New Hampshire that voter fraud is the reason he lost the Granite State’s four electoral votes in the previous presidential election. He told supporters at an arena in Manchester, "It was taken away from us."

“There is no evidence of rampant voter fraud in 2016 or really in any previous election,” Weintraub, a Democrat, told CNN.


“People have studied this. Academics have studied this. Lawyers have studied this. The government has studied this. Democrats have studied this. Republicans have studied this,” she continued. “And no one can find any evidence of rampant voter fraud either historically or particularly in the 2016 elections.”

The truly funny thing is, when vote recounts were done in Pennsylvania, Wisconis, and Michigan, the con artist and his supporters sued to stop. Why? Because they claimed there was no evidence of vote fraud or any other illegal goings on.

Yet he keeps lying about supposedly millions of votes being rigged against him which is why he lost the popular vote.

I have no clue what kind of toilet training traumas his mother inflicted on 45, but it's a pretty safe bet we'll never hear about them. On the other hand, we are seeing the results and that's bad enough to not really want to know.

What makes no sense is why 45 is even whining about New Hampshire. Four more electoral votes going to him would have changed nothing. What's more hilarious is, even in the most ridiculous of scenarios, had every single vote for Hillary in NH actually been fraudulent, that means he would have still lost the popular vote by more than 2-1/2 million.

I think Weintraub sees this stupidity for exactly what it is: 45 is intentionally laying the groundwork of putting the 2020 election results in question so when he gets kicked to the curb next fall, he will have prefabricated excuses built to protest those results.

Weintraub is simply telling the serial arsonist to stop setting fires. Whether it will succeed is anyone's guess.

You would think 45 would be smart enough to figure out that the last person you really wanna piss off when going into 14 months of major fund raising necessity is the head of the government agency that can turn every single line on every single report that must be filed about every single dollar into the world's worst colonoscopy.

But then again, using "45" and "smart enough" in the same sentence is an oxymoron.
