Stragglers refuse to leave the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge

The straggler's refusal to leave, is what is keeping the leaders of the occupation in jail.

The leaders planned on the stragglers behaving like obedient minions.
That is not happening. The stragglers want their own deals.

From jail, Bundy asked through his attorney for the occupiers to stand down.

Oregon law enforcement continue to block access to the refuge.

The four remaining protesters have been identified as Jeff Banta, 46, David Fry, 27, and a married couple, Sean Anderson, 47, and Sandy Anderson, 48, according to The Oregonian newspaper.

None of the four were among the original group of occupation leaders, according to a Reuters witness.

Sean Anderson has a warrant out for his arrest in his previous home state of Wisconsin on misdemeanor charges from 2014 of resisting an officer, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to court records.

Federal grand jury Wednesday issued indictments against Ammon Bundy, his brother and at least nine other co-defendants arrested last week in the armed takeover of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge outside of Burns.

The indictments hadn't been released by late afternoon Wednesday, but they're likely to add charges.

Billy Graham's son gets involved-

Christian evangelist Franklin Graham joined talks to end the armed occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge.

A spokesman for Graham confirmed that he communicated by phone with both federal representatives and the four remaining holdouts at the refuge.

The four holdouts awoke to discover that many lost phone and Internet service overnight, according to Greg Whalen, a Nevada supporter who said he had been in contact with the armed protesters. They have refused to leave the refuge until they are guaranteed they won't be arrested.

I would hope that the occupation leaders are in jail and deserve to remain there because of the crimes they themselves have committed rather than for anything the continued occupiers are doing. For those, I'd make sure all of their utilities are cut off, starve them out, and toss them in jail too.

Minions these days! Why is it so hard to find competant crazies that do as they are told? Maybe they have too many voices in their heads.

At least the refuge is safe, those animals can finally get a decent night's sleep.
