"Favorited" -- but no Comments?

Recently I've had half a dozen NON-anonymous "Favorited" responses to a story of mine, but no comments by any one of these respondents. . When I look up the member profiles of these people, I see a couple of things in common. One, they have favorited LOTS of the same stories, many by prolific writers, Two, they have submitted NO stories themselves. What is going on? I suspect this is specious fun, by a group of off-Literotica friends, at best, attempted entrapment or whatever at worst. Can anyone help me out here? I don't want to go getting all paranoid, but I don't like bullshit, to be frank.

Not paranoid - it's just how things are at Lit. Take the favourite as a compliment ( it is ) and move on. Comments are always a bonus, but I think some people feel going that extra distance either says too much about themselves, and they don't want their name tagged onto the story forever, or they couldn't think of anything useful to say. After all, a non-ending stream of "I liked it" would be tedious. Only a smallish percentage of people at Lit are authors, the rest are readers and hurray for them ! :)

I asked a very similar question on here a while back after posing a couple of stories and it was explained to me that some people favourited stories as a way of book marking them so that they could go back and finish reading them later or re read them. As stated above, take it as a compliment that someone wants to read or re read your story and don't try to read anything else in to it.
