If I understand your question, there's no stated limit. There are people who have thousands. Probably there's some maximum number, but it's likely too high to matter to any actual reader.
Are you aware that you can have more than one list? You can have "Favorites", "To read later", "Favorite Science Fiction", "Favorite Taboo" and so forth.
