I just read evanslily's "Caught by the Tide" and loved it, so now I'm on a kick of romance stories. I'm looking for either just your favorite romance story (multiple parts is better, but not necessary if it's really good) or a "if you like this then you should read that" type thing.

So- what are your favourite romance stories? And for those of you who read and loved "Caught by the Tide", what else would you recommend? (other than the rest of evanslily's stuff- I'm already going through that at light speed. She's amazing!)

P.S. Super-sexy male characters never hurt ;)

I've read that one too, but it didn't stand out to be the best. I just started reading them though...so I haven't dug that far into the quantity side of things. Although I'm getting there, will report back when I know more.

Ok, great let me know. That was one of the first ones I stumbled across. And being the hopeless romantic that I am, now I'm hooked

I'm loving MugsyB's work atm. Her ice stories are short and sweet (lots of strong manly types here!) and her taits series is great if you want a little action with your romance. Oh, and firstkiss is also a great writer, "I thought i hated him" and her "not my type" series are (in my opinion) her best work.

MugsyB, Daniellekitten, PennLady. Those are three of my favorites. Rachlou and evanslily are others who write some good romance. My stuff, of course, too, but I didn't want you to think I was shamelessly promoting myself without giving others their due.

Best ever romances

Scotsman69's Melanie is gorgeous. Also Epicuria's Fucking Harley is a lovely romance. Enjoy!

I also go to the lists of Winners of Annual awards and read all the romances in the list of award winners, for each year.

Toplists also provides lists of the most read stories and the top scoring stories in each category. That doesn't guarantee that they'll be good, however. So read with care. Have fun!

Also…

August_Bouvier is fantastic. If you like evanslily, you'll love August. And also soular. Both first-class romance writers.

That should keep your bosom heaving and your bodice ripping for a good while!

A good way of finding other authors you might like is to look at the 'Favorites' list belonging to one of your favourite authors. I've found quite a few new favourites that way.

And I know someone's going to ask if I don't write it here - but I promise I am still working on Chapter 5 of Anything For You. It's about half done, I'd say - which means that in theory it could be finished in a matter of days. I'm not saying that it will be, mind. One day, I will have the good sense to finish a story before I start posting it...

That's how I've found a lot of my favorites, although I am so far behind in my reading it's crazy.

I would never ask about something like that, honest! :D

I have the problem of wanting to post the story as I go, but I also want to wait until its finished. Although the story I'm working on right now, I could start technically posting, but as long as its taken me to write it, I'm not sure when it'll be done.

Nice to see you around here, Lily. Hope all is well with you.
