Just for fun and to add a teaser on the forum for the great New Poems out there.

Pick your 2 favorite titles from the list of poems from the New Poems List. I took the liberty of narrowing it down a bit :) as the poll can only hold 10.

**Please note, this is just for fun and to get some more exposure for the new poems, please don't get your panties in a bunch if I missed your favorite one, I tried to get some diversity, etc. Please vote #10 and do a write in by replying to this thread if I did not include your favorite from page 1 of the New Poems.

anna? Are you KarmaDog in disguise? Damn good titles.

Breaking the Ice With Buddha - I'm not even sure I read the poem, but my goodness, what a title!

Celibate Diversity - conjours up more than just another 'no-way-am-I-getting-fucked' poem.

From what I hear about KarmaDog, I wish I were him in disguise! Come to think of it.... didn't he leave about the time I came?

I thought the titles were awesome too, just wish I could vote more times  Thanks for joining in :)

What did you do with the dog?
You would have liked kdog a lot. He had the only thread that many of us actually looked forward to.
I'm torn between romancing spoons, barefoot wood, and Buddha. Maybe the cat. Actually, some of those titles could be put together for a darn good poem.
(I bet carrie could come up with one. I dare her. )

There are three poems with titles tha caught my attention a la k-dog:

- You skip to Dessert
- What to expect, from the cat
- barefoot hardwood floor

In the long standing battle
of celibate diversity
the peacetroopers showed up
and barefoot, hardwood floor,
they tiptoed across. Breaking
the ice with Buddha
was an
incisive move that changed
everyone's perception of depth.

Alligator cheer-leaders took up
the cry for the cutlery of course,
the pussies mewed for candy and flowers
but we already know what to expect,
from the cat
when it's a choice
of romance versus spoons.

You were here when Judo was, right? You could say, "Judo, could you write..." and 10 minutes later she'd post an entire sonnet. :D

And it would be a double reversed acrostic sonnet with a somersault. :D

I tried one of those, but all it resulted in was runnels of spunk down my thigh... I'm just glad I was wearing panties...

for a change

A la' karma dog - I think I made up titles so he could make fun of them and doing so, I learned to title well (eventually). Judo was a bit before my time (or maybe I was still lurking then?) but I remember her hot AVs.

I remember her well. In looking over and reading past threads I have read a lot of her writing. Talk about smarts and a whiz with words. We should all be so lucky to have a come back like hers. Awesome poet ~~~

Congrats MET for coming up with the most popular title, it really worked! I think partially because of the multiple possibilities of meaning, and the possibility of humor mingled with depth is what drew me to the title.

Here we go round 2!

I don't know what Karmadog did with titles, but I will just do my thang :) see what happens. Thanks for playing along! I hope your interest was piqued and you clicked on New Poems to see what was out there.
