Mine is most definatly Chasing Amy, seeing as how it's also my favorite movie period.:)

Banky Edwards: Alright, now see this? This is a four-way road, OK? And dead in the center is a crisp, new, hundred dollar bill. Now, at the end of each of these streets are four people, OK? Are you following?
Holden: Yeah.
Banky Edwards: Good. Over here, we have a male-affectionate, easy to get along with, non-political agenda lesbian. Down here, we have a man-hating, angry as fuck, agenda of rage, bitter dyke. Over here, we got Santa Claus, and up here the Easter Bunny. Which one is going to get to the hundred dollar bill first?
Holden: What is this supposed to prove?
Banky Edwards: No, I'm serious. This is a serious exercise. It's like an SAT question. Which one is going to get to the hundred dollar bill first? The male-friendly lesbian, the man-hating dyke, Santa Claus, or the Easter bunny?
Holden: The man-hating dyke.
Banky Edwards: Good. Why?
Holden: I don't know.
Banky Edwards: BECAUSE THE OTHER THREE ARE FIGMEENTS OF YOUR FUCKING IMAGINATION!

My favorite gay/bi theme movie: Does it only have to be one? I have a few, the first being "Prisilla Queen of the Desert." Too funny!
Next would have to be "Love, Valor, Compassion" it makes me cry. Last but not least would be "Better than Chocolate." Also another really funny one. Love the soundtrack especially "I'm not a fucking drag queen." It's awsome!

Damn, I would've thought for sure the Easter Bunny would win.

First, Santa is the slowest of the four, because he's some big, fat guy. Secondly, rabbits are faster than most humans (even various kinds of lesbians), so I'd imagine that especially if the Easter Bunny is the size of a human, he'd outpace the lesbians because he has even longer legs than a regular rabbit.

One of my favorites is "Gia" with Angelina Jolie. I think this was one of her first films and maybe her best. On a grander scale, Ken Russell's "Women In Love".

I'm kinda suprised no one's mentioned Hedwig and the Angry Inch. There's a great Type O Negative cover of one of the songs from that movie.

Yeah, I almost listed that one since I just saw it a few months ago. So I might as well mention the good'ol Rocky Horror Picture Show, which is up there on my top five list of gay/bi flicks.

I love "Better Than Chocolate." Saw it a few years ago and it is an awesome movie.

Oooooooohhhhh Rocky!!:D

I'd add The Birdcage. I've seen it a dozen times and still laugh out loud watching it.

Yeah, absolutely "The Birdcage", Robin Williams/Nathan Lane were great! Which reminds me of another funny one, along this vein, "Victor/Victoria" which is another barrel of laughs! :)

 Oh heck yes! I would have to add RHPS and Hedwig as well. Seeing as I own both of them. The previous in multiple formats as well as the soundtrack, both London stage cast and Audience participation version.

*gasp* I PIERCED the toast!

I saw this great movie on IFC about a lesbian who worked in a gay bookstore with problems with costums, and her mom and brother living with her not knowing she was gay... I wish I could remember what the hell it was called.

The one where I had mentioned the soundtrack. Good flick.

My all-time favorite movie with a gay/bi theme is Rocky Horror but I saw Soldier's Girl last night and I thought that movie was sooo good. I recommend everyone should see both of those. There's also a good one about these two girls in love at a boarding school. I can't remember what it's called. One's a lesbian and one's bi and the lesbian girl is adopted. Also, the bi girl's name is Mary. They have a heterosexual female friend who knows about thier relationship but she has no problem with it. Maybe someone knows what I'm talking about and can tell me the name? The ending is really sad but I don't want to give it away.

the movie is "lost and delirious" with piper perabo, jessica pare and mischa barton. good movie.
i also like when night is calling,
the incredible story of 2 girls in love and
kissing jessica stein.

Aimée and Jaguar is closely tied with And the Band Played On for me.

I love Aimée and Jaguar!

I would have to say Bound just cuz I think Gina Gershon is so damn hot. And Laural Canyon just cuz I think Frances McDormant is so damn hot. Both films have very short--but very hot--lesbian scenes.

Go Fish is a pretty good and The Incredibly True Adventures of Two Girls in Love has some amazing sex scenes.

"Jeffery" is also among my top ten, as well as "It's my party." The latter brings up a lot of emotions.

Does anyone remember seeing "All over me"? That was ok too.

my own private idaho
kiss me guido
the rocky horror picture show and
the lost language of the cranes

Maurice

"Maurice" (Merchant Ivory 1987) is my favorite gay/bi film. Number 1 on the list for me. (Don't know how I left it out in my previous mentions above) Beautifully photographed & heartwrenching, a young Hugh Grant stars.

I really enjoyed:
But I'm A Cheerleader,
Frida,
If These Walls Could Talk II (HBO Film),
Cabaret, and
Ma Vie En Rose
