I'm lousy at story titles. They are a seldom discussed part of writing, and with Lit stories, can often be the make-or-break factor with voting. When Impressive revealed the title for her unwritten Halloween contest story, it inspired me to start this thread and ask the burning question:

What are your favorite Literotica story titles?

Here are a few of the old Rumple's favorites::

Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun (Impressive)

Eighteen Wheels & A Denim Miniskirt (ronde)

Where Did I Put The Sex? (oggbashan)

Bonking for Britian (neonlyte)

And no list could be complete without mention of Svenskaflicka's immortal titles:

Bara vi två

Min Japanske Älskare

I suck at titles and descriptions both.....constantly begging for help from everyone around me, and I know it has to get on their nerves.

There's a random title generator that's kind of fun (some of the titles it comes up with are really funny). I found it on the NaNoWriMo Forum.

I just got these:

Smooth Mists

The Willow's Teacher

The Death of the Shards

Azure Woman

The Serpents's Cloud (I kind of like this one)

Descriptions -- now there's where I hiccup. Titles typically don't cause me too much grief, but I agonize over descriptions. Half the time, Lit changes them for me. LOL

"Amsterdamned: Weekend of Kink" by Green_Gem is one of my favorite story titles on Lit (not that I've even scratched the surface on seeing them all, mind you).

I have a hard time with titles...I usually wait until the end to do the "real" one. I had a very hard time with my rainy day story title, but Biplaymate420 had an inspiration. She gets all the credit for that one.

I'm happiest with "A Beautiful Friendship" because I came up with the title and the inspiration for it at the same time.

Thank's Rumpole, thought it might amuse.

I am hopeless at remembering names, stories people, places. I even need a jot list of the names of the characters in the stories I'm writing. So forgive me, I cannot remember, but just like driving, I know where they are.

Thank you for the honourable mention, Rumple.

Of yours, I like 'Burying Uncle Hiram's Ghost' for its oddity.

My favourite title of my own works is the Valentine Day competition entry 'Hedgehog Feud'.

My title: 'Where Did I Put The Sex?' came long before I had a story to fit it.
