What is yours? The very bestest food in the whole world? The one food you couldn't do without? The one thing you would fight over?

Me: Chicken, in any form.

Do chocolate or Oatmeal Pies count as a food?

If not it would have to be bread of any kind. I love making and eating bread.

Does coffee fit in as a food group? If so, then coffee...if not, then....hmmm....will have to think about this.

any type of tex-mex food there is nothing in the world better.

Steak. God I love red meat. It'll be my downfall but I can't go a week without it.

Everyone will probably turn their noses but if done properly I will fight for Stuffed Eggplant when it is available.

Rare Meat

There is only one thing you can eat that is totally fat free, calorie free, cholesterol free, nicotine free, (unless your with Bill Clinton), salt free (I think?), and sugar free. It is also void of M.S.G., starch, artificial sweeteners (usually), phenylalanine, beta carotene, or dyes of any sort. It is not now, nor has it ever been on the Surgeon Generals warnings list and it contains no expiration date.

Although it should be warmed, it is refreshing when served with salad. Others prefer it with maraschino cherries and whipped cream (or Cool Whip). It is known to be habit forming but this negative side effect is offset by the fact that it usually leads to exercise and good health.

Muffin, is that you groaning back there? ...Come on people! Y'all knew it was coming (pun intended).

I will eat any kind of pasta. I swear there is italian in me somewhere.

The way it appears to me....

from many conversations that I have I have overheard lately, SHIT appears to be a favorite food for lots of folks. As a matter of fact, there appears to be a mass movement to get people to try it. Those who have tried it, must like it because they seem to be telling everyone else to "eat shit".
I especially hear it a lot in my line of work. Frankly, I hope it is just a phase, like angel hair pasta.

Is Coca Cola Classic a food? I am so badly addicted, it is disgraceful. Favorite food is turkey. Could eat it almost every day. Other favorite is Pasta Alfredo, but too lazy to make it very often, especially when Olive Garden is just down the street.

So tough choosing my single-most favorite food. It would be so much easier to choose my favorite for each part of a meal.

The also-rans are:
- Strawberry Shortcake (with pound cake, milke and butter; none of that angel food cake with whipped topping)
- Filet Mignon, Medium Rare
- Blue Bunny Ice Cream: Critics Choice Berry Bonanza. Had some for the first time last night and it immediately shot into the top five.
- Chocolate Brownies (with coffee of course, very tough to eat any chocolate without also have coffee)

Unfortunately for the above contenders, the one thing I have a hard time going without each day is a glass of orange juice. I'm not even sure if it counts as a food.

Lemon chicken and wild rice. I eat that at least once a week. My family hates it so much tho, that I end up making something else for the rest of them. Oh well..more for me that way!!

Mac n Cheese....

With ham

Ham, Ham, Ham, eggs and Ham. oh wait.... no eggs.

Me too! I can't live without my Coke!! I also love cheesecake, but I only allow myself one piece a month.

Ok, so it's not a food.

Caffeine. I don't care what form I get it in, but don't make me go without it.

You're right, it MUST be heavenly, because the phrase is often followed by "...and die"! MMM...good!

My food! Cheerios. (Okay, I am 8 years old. Sue me.)
