I'm making an art piece for a friend's new baby of Alice talking to the catepillar. So I started thinking about my favorite child's fable. (And last night I saw Shrek), and I think it would have to be either Alice in Wonderland, or Snow White. What about your favorites?

i have to admit, it's cinderella for me........always loved that fairy godmother bit.......lol

I forgot to mention Rapunzel! I love that tale! I'm beginning to think I have a Prince Charming complex.

I liked the one about the chick who kicked the royal ass of some dude when he tried to feel her up at the dance. As she beat him senseless her glass shoe went flying off and landed on the steps outside the door.

Two days later the cops picked her up and charged her with felony assault, but when witnesses came forward and testified about the sexual harrassment that had occured, women's groups all over the countryside came to her aid, and the charges where dropped.

Riveting shit man.

I think that other one about the bunnies that were unlawfully in the garden of Mr. Rodenticide was pretty scary too. It put me on edge, but it turned out okay, didn't it?

Gretchie!

LOL! Good heavens... my mom says the same thing. She always says "Why can't those twitty princesses take care of themselves? Why do they need a man?" Sometimes I pity my father. ;) She definitely wears the pants in the family, well, mostly. She said I had a Cinderella complex in high school. Then she realized that I was going to do whatever made me happy, regardless of her opinion. So far she's approved of the two serious relationships I've had (I know, not many, but I like to stick to the same man).

The whole fairytale is at that link. Too long to post here thought. It is by Hans Christian Andersen and was in a picture book of fairy tales I got from my parents when I was 3 years old. I still have it after all these years.

My favorite fairy tale...

The one that came on Cinemax at 2 in the morning when I was 12. It was better than that soft porn about a nurse trying to kill of her elderly male patient with sex.

What? Don't tell me you didn't snoop for the parents' porno or get google eyed at soft porn on showtime. I can't be the only perved adolescent in America.

A true classic

Now that you mention it, Cock Robin sounds like my favorite... ummm.. fairy tale. Yeh. That's right. My favorite by a long shot.

I have tall black leather boots, and long black gloves to go with them, but i still look at men in black leather... and mystery men in capes, too.
;)
