awesome. fauci spoke out, spoke out well, & pulled rand for his bullshit and further stripped rand's supposition of 'herd immunity' rather than following the cdc's guidelines being the reason the positivity rate in ny is now around 1%
rand blustered and proposed his nonsense, talking over fauci, but fauci came through with the cold, clear, hard science and wasn't browbeaten at all. i'm very happy to see him speaking out more, now.

dr birx is also said to be very unhappy with the bad information being fed to trump by his minions and, given her reduced role in the covid taskforce, isn't sure how much longer she can continue in the role now assigned her.

"If you believe 22 percent is herd immunity, I believe you're alone in that," Fauci told Paul during the hearing, referring to the number of New Yorkers thought to have had COVID-19.
The exchange took place during a Senate Health Committee hearing where Fauci and others are testifying about the pandemic.
