So, after some researching, I verified for myself that the father of the Trump rally shooter was a Libertarian.

That ^ explains EVERYTHING imho:

a) Libertarians are ammosexual incels.

b) Libertarians are anarchistic.

c) Libertarians are cultish.

Those ^ three characteristics of Libertarians provide all the information we need to know about the father of the Trump rally shooter - and the shooter himself - to close the circle on the rationale for the shooting:

2) Being anarchistic, the shooter had no particular loyalty to either major party, so a donation to ActBlue, while simultaneously registering as a "republican", tracks.
