Father-Daughter Story Ideas: Pick One and React

So I’m trying to get a good starting point for my next father-daughter story, and I’ve got two sketched-out options I’m considering. Feedback toward the end of selecting which of the two stories is more exciting and how to improve it is my request. Thanks in advance!

A lot of my stories start with a central idea, like a specific girl or a particular scene or an important plot device - then I craft the story around it. The stories are (starting with that central idea):

Sex In The Dressing Room
This one starts with a specific girl I came across: Anna Faith Carlson. She got national attention for being a look-alike to ‘Elsa’ from Disney’s ‘Frozen’ but is quite a bit sexier. ( http://imgur.com/6tCUs1v ) I read that she wanted to try out for stage-acting given her new fame. I imagined starting with a young girl (not Anna specifically) who is a brand-new starlet. I thought that as she gained the public spotlight, she might struggle to maintain a close dependency on her father. Pressures of her new fame, being lusted after by strangers and turning to her father for support would escalate things between the two. The pinnacle scene might come before her first show, when nerves drive her to seeking relief in her father’s arms.

Father-Daughter Exchange Rate
This one starts with an idea: that a daughter asks her father for things that require progressively more parental flexibility or money (probably both) and is required to always provide something in return. I feel like it’s a relatively simple or borderline generic plot, but nonetheless I love the thought of the two of them pushing boundaries until it’s not about the ask but the required exchange. Any ideas to enrich or distinguish this story would be welcome.

I have written father-daughter stories and I just do not buy that an 18-YO girl realistically will turn to Dad for sex, not without a strong reason. We can devise fantasy mechanisms -- a lifetime of casual nudity; an extreme experience; a long separation -- or just skip the excuses and go straight to a done deed -- sure, Kitty wants to suck Daddy's dick! Ever since she got turned on to cocksucking when she was young. No explicit descriptions of underage BJs on LIT, of course.

But turning to Dad for sex because she's nervous and stressed? I don't think so. Pushing boundaries? In fantasyland that could work, with a wimpy dad, a somewhat crazy daughter, maybe conniving friends. If the author says it is so then voila, it is so.

Your audience might disagree with me. They may long for the unlikely interactions. I just don't write like that. YMMV.

Frankly, I don't really buy most of my stories happening in real life. Not to mention the ones that literally involve a super-power/ability or 'accidentally' inserting into a family member, but most of my stories involve incest fantasy that almost never occurs.

As previous commenters have said of my work, you've got to suspend disbelief and enter into the story with an openness to how things might develop between the two characters because they are that one-in-a-million couple you might read about on Reddit's incest subs (for example). In order to answer the question - which story do you like better and how can it be improved, I think suspension of disbelief is necessary to work within my writing style.

The thing is GENERALLY we suspend belief for one thing or another based on some set of parameters. It's okay that Superman can fly n shit but notice how annoyed people get that nobody can see through his brilliant disguise of a pair of glasses?! Or him flying around the earth fast enough to turn back time?

That said with incest I tend to just rock the comedy route and assume nobody cares.

I guess my issue is how to convince MYSELF to buy the storyline I'm writing. So far in my LIT writing (2 years with a 6+ month break) I approach stereotypical Oh Mommy! and Oh Daddy! tropes as satires or mindless strokers. I could maybe buy a "pushing boundaries" scenario.

Szuzi was always a wild child. Dad was always a bit distant and wimpish, not trying to control or direct her life, not really being Daddy. Her motto is "party hearty" -- and hit up Dad for money etc as needed. Since Mom ran off with a stockbroker when Szuzi was 15, the kid has been even more demanding, more manipulative -- but he has stiffened his spine and now demands quid pro quo. After she turns 18 in her high school senior year, her idea of fair exchange becomes more physical. Before, besides home chores, she massaged his arms and shoulders. (His job is hard physical work.) Now she massages his feet and legs while wearing little. The usual seduction follows, probably with alcohol involved, maybe with dirty dares. That's when the boundary is overstepped.

What happens next? A happy-for-now ending: Dad and Szuzi merrily fucking away? A serious long-term romance with pregnancy? A guilt reaction crushing their relationship: she flees and returning later, remorseful? A tragi-comedy: Mom returns, interrupting the entwined couple? A visit by cousins (or Dad's siblings) who get in on the action? Something else entirely?

Not an explicit description, no. But it's certainly the backstory in Before Ruth. The narrator mentions the casual nudity and slumbering together but no sex occurs or is described until everyone is overage.

That's the easy way. Don't explain; it just happens. Like my bro+sis act in 'Neath Western Skies, Ma! -- they're well into it before we realize who's who. Like A Spot of Music it includes the most useful sister line: "I've always loved you!" That's all that's needed to justify a good sibling fuck.

That's the kind of background I was looking for, thank you! I think the daughter would definitely need to have an edginess about her and a bit of vanity as well to drive the quid pro quo between her and her father.

Maybe it's a weakness of mine as the writer, but in order to identify with the characters I don't know that I'd write dad being "wimpy." I think you can have a dad who's somewhat less involved as a parent, being firm when he needs to and perhaps being the one his daughter goes to less when she's asking for something, knowing he doesn't just bend over for her. That way when his daughter notices she can get things using her looks and physical attention, she might get a bit of a thrill from her newfound success. She's also be benefited monetarily or otherwise, which her materialism could fuel.

I just do not see that a father who has been supportive and "always there" and involved throughout her life will turn into a daughter-fucker, even if she instigates. He is a strong man -- and strong men do *not* fuck their little girls. That's why I suggested a wimpish father for the second option. If he is weaker and more distant, he is a more likely target, more easily subverted.

I do have one or two issues when it comes to writing good incest stories. I don't like the step family thing, for my way of thinking that is just not incest. As a writer I will never write a story about two people who fall in love, and if the man is married to his lover's mother and then say that it was incest, because it was not Now if a father fell in love with his birth daughter, and a sexual relationship happened, those are the stories that I not only want to write about, but their stories I want to read as well.

Over the years I have posted on other sites and I have always asked for feedback. I really like to know who is reading my stories, and what are you thinking when you are reading my work. I've tried to put my head around this. Best I can come up with is:

Megan has starred in school plays since she was five. In high school she aced the AP drama classes. Her conscientious youngish dad (he fathered her at 16, legal age in their state) stuck with her and her cheating mother. Yes, he has always been there for her, backstage support in every production. He seems strong. And she's physically a late bloomer. She blossoms in her HS senior year and is offered the starlet contract after graduation.

But his strength is illusory. He can't help but notice her blooming. And she has always idolized him. So when stress and hormones and maybe too much pink champagne drives her (wearing only a slip) weeping into his arms, he breaks.

Of course she's a virgin and he impregnates her and events spiral from there. Or maybe she has fucked other student actors (and maybe teachers) but they just don't match up with Daddy. Yada yada. Complication: as a starlet she needs one or more official boyfriends for paparazzi to stalk. Do we have a Scooby-Doo chase scene with Daddy, BFs, and paparazzi?

Appreciate the continued effort Hypoxia, and I think that's a pretty workable setup for the story. There might even be a series of stories in play. It seems predicated pretty heavily on Dad's weakness for the blossoming looks and shape of his daughter and while that may be unlikely - hey, it's fantasy. Maybe as she starts to get attention on social and local media for her future in acting, he starts hearing the general public's perception of her and it assists his own straying thoughts.

I like idea of him actively playing a role in her acting, it puts a lot of proximity between them into the story in a way that sounds pretty unique. I thought maybe he would even comfort her when another actor/boyfriend mistreats her. It could become a pattern of her turning to dad during times of stress or anguish and his solutions for her get progressively more skewed towards sex.

Her personality is a bit of an unknown in this scheme vs. the other one. I have to imagine she still has a bit of vanity, though newfound as you suggest. Is she still a wild child or a daddy's girl?

I recently checked the fitting rooms and found a father and daughter changing together in a stall. they were quite embarrassed to be caught. they were in the fitting room with out an associate around was the reason for me checking on them.

The easy story behind that is their family are casually nude at home. They're embarrassed because they were caught in public but between them it ain't no big thang.

Or else they like having such fun, hey? Were they touching? I would throw that scene into a story -- it's a great plot gerbil.

EDIT: Let's plump this out. What did they look like? Color, size, age, hairiness, accent, etc. Were they totally naked, or in knickers, or socks, or...? Did you find either attractive? Did you or they say anything? What costumes were in the changing stall? What was YOUR emotional vibe? Were you excited?

Not wild, I'd say, or at least not lacking self-discipline. And never a drama queen except for constant squabbling with her cheating mom. Dad was always her rock -- and he's crumbling. One sub-current: she's unconsciously competing with mom for dad. Her mother isn't good enough for him but SHE is!

As a multi-part epic I'd be tempted to give chapters very different moods. Ch1: The dramatic setup and their first fuck. Ch2: A dreamy romantic thing. Ch3: The madcap Scooby-Doo chase. Ch4: Discovery and tragic collapse. Ch5: Reconciliation and vague Happy Ever After fade-out leaving space for unspecified sequels.
