I just did that to get your attention- but it worked, didn't it? Now that you are here, this is what I really wanted to say.

I have seen quite a few posts on this board that have to do with self esteem and other social issues of plus sized women, of which I happen to be. I happen to think beauty comes in many different sizes and styles, and quite a few great men in history agree with me.

Like this guy-

And this guy thought plus sized women were damn good models to portray Venus, the most beautiful woman in the universe-

Oh, the days when being plump and pasty meant that you were rich and tasty...

:D

Women were not always thin as a fashion- that only started in the early 20th century

You know what? I agree with you. :)

It doesn't matter what your size is, big or small it's the person within that matters. :)

Ah, the good old days.

I hang around this guy who actually thinks that Tara from Buffy was overweight, and he referred to her as 'that fat chick.' Man, when I heard that, I told him I never wanted to hear another complaint from him again about not getting laid.

Gorgeous pictures. Thanks for posting. :)

Like all thing, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I agree with you that it is what a person does and thinks that make him/her a good person, not what appears to the eye.
Now that I stated my belief, lets get real here, there are many men/women who don't share that same feeling and would not engage an over weight person, because of the constant bombardment we grow up with. Consider ads on TV, magazines etc good looking slim sexy guys/girls sells products not the opposite. When stimulated with this vision it becomes somewhat self fulfilling, you may only want to be with slim, good looking sexy individuals, number 10!
When these people finally get below the superficial surface and dig a little deeper then they find the real person.

I love cooking, wine and sex. Damned if I'll ever give up the first two for the last - but i know i'll never need to!
