Four interesting questions:

1. When you're home for the day and you know that no one's going to call round, and you're in the mood for comfort without the restrictions of looking good... what do you wear?

2. If you're left to your own devices, and there's no one in your bed that you need to impress (either because you're in the most fantastic relationship, or because there's no one there at all), what do you wear?

3. Have you ever had a particular hairstyle or outfit that makes you cringe when you look back on it? If so, what?

4. Has an item of clothing ever let you down? Be as detailed as possible in your answer.

1. When you're home for the day and you know that no one's going to call round, and you're in the mood for comfort without the restrictions of looking good... what do you wear?

Today - huge black furry animal claw-shaped slippers, purple cashmere socks, grey jogging pants, my most comfortable lurid-green t-shirt and a black hoody tied around my waist.

2. If you're left to your own devices, and there's no one in your bed that you need to impress (either because you're in the most fantastic relationship, or because there's no one there at all), what do you wear?

My most comfortable lurid-green t-shirt and a pair of shorts. If it's cold I have a pair of blue PJ pants that clash like hell with the t-shirt :D

3. Have you ever had a particular hairstyle or outfit that makes you cringe when you look back on it? If so, what?

I had a God-awful perm when I was 13

4. Has an item of clothing ever let you down? Be as detailed as possible in your answer.

Yes. The top button flew off my pants at Mat and Mindy's wedding. I also had a Wonderbra break on me when I was in the middle of a university seminar, in a small room with not many people. My bust deflated in just one second :(

1. When you're home for the day and you know that no one's going to call round, and you're in the mood for comfort without the restrictions of looking good... what do you wear?

Cut-off sweatpants and an oversized t-shirt. No shoes/socks or panties. Cotton bra, no underwire.

2. If you're left to your own devices, and there's no one in your bed that you need to impress (either because you're in the most fantastic relationship, or because there's no one there at all), what do you wear?

Nothing.

3. Have you ever had a particular hairstyle or outfit that makes you cringe when you look back on it? If so, what?

I had these plaid flannel elephant bells in the 5th grade ...

4. Has an item of clothing ever let you down? Be as detailed as possible in your answer.

Not sure I can blame it on the clothing, but when I catch a glimpse of myself in a mirror, what I'm wearing NEVER looks as good on me as I feel like it looks -- if that makes any sense.

1. When you're home for the day and you know that no one's going to call round, and you're in the mood for comfort without the restrictions of looking good... what do you wear?

Nothing.... I'm a nudist

2. If you're left to your own devices, and there's no one in your bed that you need to impress (either because you're in the most fantastic relationship, or because there's no one there at all), what do you wear?

See answer above.....

3. Have you ever had a particular hairstyle or outfit that makes you cringe when you look back on it? If so, what?

I returned from R&R in Australia to DaNang in 1969 wearing orange bellbottoms and an orange pullover shirt..... My duffle bag got misplaced on the plane... the outfit clashed with my helmet, rifle and combat boots on the ride back to the unit area.... The stares I could put up with, it was the pointing and laughing that got to me....

4. Has an item of clothing ever let you down? Be as detailed as possible in your answer.

I've split several pairs of shorts down the back..... kind of drafty when you are commando at the time.....

1. When you're home for the day and you know that no one's going to call round, and you're in the mood for comfort without the restrictions of looking good... what do you wear?

Like today? ;) In the colder months I wear a pair of very thin track pants (cotton knit), and today I have on a tank top with them - I'm hot natured, what can I say. When it's the middle of summer here, it's ungodly hot and humid, so I wear as little as possible, even in the air-conditioned house....usually a pair of cutoff shorts, and a tank.

2. If you're left to your own devices, and there's no one in your bed that you need to impress (either because you're in the most fantastic relationship, or because there's no one there at all), what do you wear?

A HUGE t-shirt (I swear, three of me could fit in it) that someone special gave me.

3. Have you ever had a particular hairstyle or outfit that makes you cringe when you look back on it? If so, what?

Several.

I graduated from high school in 1979, and when I look back at pictures of me during the 70's, I'm constantly amazed that my mother let me walk out the door with some of the shit that I wore. :D It was horrible!

More recently, I sadly succumbed to the fad in the 80's, and had big hair for a VERY short period of time. ;)

4. Has an item of clothing ever let you down? Be as detailed as possible in your answer.

No, not that I can think of.

I used to have this dress that I called my every-occasion-dress. It was made of raw silk, so draped really, really nice....it was lined, so no slip needed, and it was a very basic shape - curved neckline, cap sleeves, length just above my knee. It was the most gorgeous deep pink, and I wore it to EVERYTHING. Weddings, job interviews, you name it. Best thing was I think I paid about $40 for it (I worked at the store where I got it - discount).

It eventually had something spilled on it, and got an ugly stain that I couldn't get rid of, so I had to throw it out, damn it.

1. When you're home for the day and you know that no one's going to call round, and you're in the mood for comfort without the restrictions of looking good... what do you wear?

Um, I am horrible at fashion. I am always, always caught wearing something I don't want to be seen wearing. I don't think in advance about what if someone comes around and sees me wandering around the house in a salwar-kameez that's oh so many sizes too large and my hair oiled or unplaited or whatever. But then I do care when I'm in the situation.

2. If you're left to your own devices, and there's no one in your bed that you need to impress (either because you're in the most fantastic relationship, or because there's no one there at all), what do you wear?

Haha. Surely you joke about someone fantastic who doesn't need impressing?
I sleep in a ratty, but very very soft nightie and pajamas.

3. Have you ever had a particular hairstyle or outfit that makes you cringe when you look back on it? If so, what?

All my grad years I wore A-line dresses and had puffs in my sleeves and please, I want to forget those days. But I have pics, and I recently got them out and was seriously wondering how I managed to make such good friends even though I looked like something out of the 80s. I was such an uncool thing to be seen with.

My hairstyle hasn't changed in about 13 years. I told you I was horrible.

4. Has an item of clothing ever let you down? Be as detailed as possible in your answer.

Nothing that I can remember.

1. When you're home for the day and you know that no one's going to call round, and you're in the mood for comfort without the restrictions of looking good... what do you wear?

Boxers and a T. There are pants on a hook by the door in case someone I'm not expecting knocks.

2. If you're left to your own devices, and there's no one in your bed that you need to impress (either because you're in the most fantastic relationship, or because there's no one there at all), what do you wear?

Wear?

3. Have you ever had a particular hairstyle or outfit that makes you cringe when you look back on it? If so, what?

Not since my parents stopped making my fashion desicions for me. My hair frequently makes me cringe though. It never does what I want it to.

4. Has an item of clothing ever let you down? Be as detailed as possible in your answer.

Only shoes. I don't try them on properly when I buy them, because I rush through the whole shopping process (yeah, I'm such a bloke), and end up with stuff I can't walk straight in.

1. When you're home for the day and you know that no one's going to call round, and you're in the mood for comfort without the restrictions of looking good... what do you wear? something comfy, I have a variety of knit shorts, t-shirts, knit capris, pants, long sleeve shirts to wear around the house for all seasons (I'm a stay at home mom, I have lots of house clothes, lol.) NO bra.

2. If you're left to your own devices, and there's no one in your bed that you need to impress (either because you're in the most fantastic relationship, or because there's no one there at all), what do you wear? summertime it's a short knit gown or sleeveless tank and knit capri pjs. wintertime is usually soft cotton pjs.. unless I'm hot, then it's one of my summer gowns.

3. Have you ever had a particular hairstyle or outfit that makes you cringe when you look back on it? If so, what? Only outfit I can think of was a crocheted Ernie (from Sesame Street) sweater vest that I had when I was five. As far as hair goes, any style I had until my mother finally let me grow out my hair. Before then, it just looked like a giant puff ball.

4. Has an item of clothing ever let you down? Be as detailed as possible in your answer. I've had zippers break on jeans. That's the only thing I can think of.

Okay, now I've got to stop procrastinating and get to work on NaNo.

1. When you're home for the day and you know that no one's going to call round, and you're in the mood for comfort without the restrictions of looking good... what do you wear?

usually some old ratty tracky bottoms covered in paint, a t shirt, no bra and holey socks. Have been known to venture out in this outfit...

2. If you're left to your own devices, and there's no one in your bed that you need to impress (either because you're in the most fantastic relationship, or because there's no one there at all), what do you wear?

Depends on the season - winter, anything warm will do. Summer - nothing. If someone is sharing my bed then i won't wear anything regardless of weather. No point, cos I would be taking it off again!

3. Have you ever had a particular hairstyle or outfit that makes you cringe when you look back on it? If so, what?

a particularly nasty electric blue ensemble springs to mind, from around 1985... yuk. Never had bad hair that I can recall, altho a few bad fringe attacks have been known.

4. Has an item of clothing ever let you down? Be as detailed as possible in your answer.

I bought a nighty from a jumble sale once upon a time. I thought it was pretty modest and wore it often. One night my ex's friend stayed over on our couch. Nxt morning I got up (wearing nighty) to make a cuppa for us all. I wondered why he lay there with a silly grin on his face as i was talking to him - it turned out the sun was shining through the window behind me and thus rendering the nighty virtually see-through!! It took him a while to tell me this... pretty embarrasing for me!!

1. When you're home for the day and you know that no one's going to call round, and you're in the mood for comfort without the restrictions of looking good... what do you wear?
Jammies.

2. If you're left to your own devices, and there's no one in your bed that you need to impress (either because you're in the most fantastic relationship, or because there's no one there at all), what do you wear?
Jammies. I don't get into bed with anyone I feel like I need to impress, but if I did then I'd wear blue jammies. :)

3. Have you ever had a particular hairstyle or outfit that makes you cringe when you look back on it? If so, what?
I tried to be a redhead once. Yeah, once. I cringed even then.

4. Has an item of clothing ever let you down? Be as detailed as possible in your answer.
If you mean not looking as good when I wear it for real as it did when I tried it on- sure!

1. When you're home for the day and you know that no one's going to call round, and you're in the mood for comfort without the restrictions of looking good... what do you wear?

satin boxers and a tanktop. hoodie if its cold

2. If you're left to your own devices, and there's no one in your bed that you need to impress (either because you're in the most fantastic relationship, or because there's no one there at all), what do you wear?

see above minus the hoodie

3. Have you ever had a particular hairstyle or outfit that makes you cringe when you look back on it? If so, what?

god yes. does the 80's mean anything to anyone??

4. Has an item of clothing ever let you down? Be as detailed as possible in your answer.[/QUOTE]
It was my own fault. had this white satin short shirt that got totally sprayed with pink sparkling wine one new years. i never got the stains out

1. When you're home for the day and you know that no one's going to call round, and you're in the mood for comfort without the restrictions of looking good... what do you wear?
Old teeshirt & shorts or old flannel tracksuit, socks if it's cold.

2. If you're left to your own devices, and there's no one in your bed that you need to impress (either because you're in the most fantastic relationship, or because there's no one there at all), what do you wear?
I never wear anything in bed - answer 4 might explain why.

3. Have you ever had a particular hairstyle or outfit that makes you cringe when you look back on it? If so, what?
The hair on the back of my head always stands on end regardless of how it is cut or what I try to do.

4. Has an item of clothing ever let you down? Be as detailed as possible in your answer.
When I was about 12, I had a serious crush on my older cousin. She stayed over one weekend and I decided to surprise her with breakfast in bed. I walked into her bedroom carrying a breakfast tray just as my pyjama bottoms came undone and dropped to the floor. Never bothered with them again.

Big T-shirt and underwear. Shorts if my kids are around.

2. If you're left to your own devices, and there's no one in your bed that you need to impress (either because you're in the most fantastic relationship, or because there's no one there at all), what do you wear?

Nothing. I always sleep naked.

3. Have you ever had a particular hairstyle or outfit that makes you cringe when you look back on it? If so, what?

A perm as a kid. My poor mom tried forever to tame my hair - AND me.

4. Has an item of clothing ever let you down? Be as detailed as possible in your answer.

Zipper on a bridesmaid dress - it came down while I was dancing.

Oops.

I can't think of one that I did on purpose but a hair dresser accidently colored my hair purple one time.

Depends entirely on the weather. If it's nice and warm then absolutely nothing. If it's a bit cooler like tonight then sweatpants and a T-Shirt. If it's cold then Sweat Pants and an older, oversized Sweatshirt.

2. If you're left to your own devices, and there's no one in your bed that you need to impress (either because you're in the most fantastic relationship, or because there's no one there at all), what do you wear?

Not a damned thing.

3. Have you ever had a particular hairstyle or outfit that makes you cringe when you look back on it? If so, what?

Not that I can remember. I have always dressed for comfort and could care less what other people think.

4. Has an item of clothing ever let you down? Be as detailed as possible in your answer.

Ummmm, a couple of times. Once was a rented Tux. The pants decided to let go when I bent over to hug one of the little Brides Maids. (They were her sisters and the oldest was about ten.) Another was a heavy one piece Wetsuit I had borrowed for a cold water dive. Halfway through the dive the zipper gave up the ghost and I found myself wearing a flapping piece of neoprene in very cold water. The last was a bathing suit my wife had picked up for me at a local store. It was baggy, it was loose and it was comfortable. We hit the water at a very crowded beach. While we were in the water my wife pointed out several very tasty looking young ladies while describing what she would like to see me doing to them. Naturally I reacted to this. When I came out of the water I noticed more than a couple of people looking our way. It took a minute or three for my wife to realise the reason, and when she pointed it out she could only laugh. The material the bathing suit had been made of was obviously not designed to be worn at public beaches. Not only did it mold to me, it was also transparent. Oops.

I distingish between "soft clothes" and "hard clothes." The first are what I wear at home: Sweat pants, t-shirt, and fleece sweater. The other is everthing else, ranging from suits to formal wear to golf shirt and shorts - nothing is a comfortable as soft clothes.

My confession: My sins are too horrible to share. The 1970s - the horror

Oh come on, Ms. Appleby. These are our own people. They won't make fun of you. I'll hold your hand while you whisper it out. :D

Summer: underwear and a tank. I keep my most favorite jeans on standby thrown across the couch. Winter, undies, tank top, most favorite jeans, and socks.

2. If you're left to your own devices, and there's no one in your bed that you need to impress (either because you're in the most fantastic relationship, or because there's no one there at all), what do you wear?

Nothing. Undies, maybe, if I can be bothered to find them before I crawl between the sheets.

3. Have you ever had a particular hairstyle or outfit that makes you cringe when you look back on it? If so, what?

My hair curls in odd ways when it's short... I had bangs... ONCE. They flipped up, back and to the left all on their own, and NOTHING could get them to stay down.

4. Has an item of clothing ever let you down? Be as detailed as possible in your answer.

My most favorite jeans rip all the damn time, but I just put underwear under them and say to hell with it.

Can a guy answer? Looks like a hen party in here.

1. When you're home for the day and you know that no one's going to call round, and you're in the mood for comfort without the restrictions of looking good... what do you wear?

a running suit, loose, too big, with tie string at the waist

2. If you're left to your own devices, and there's no one in your bed that you need to impress (either because you're in the most fantastic relationship, or because there's no one there at all), what do you wear?

I never wear anything in bed. Well, I used to wear a condum at times. Does that count?

3. Have you ever had a particular hairstyle or outfit that makes you cringe when you look back on it? If so, what?

Yeah. When I was a teenager, I wore a Mowhawk for a while. Stupid idea.

4. Has an item of clothing ever let you down? Be as detailed as possible in your answer.

No, but I've let my clothing down a time or two. Quit smoking once and gained so much weight, nothing fit. Had to start smoking again so I could use my clothes. Luckily, I did it soon enough that I didn't have to buya whole new wardrobe.

1 - gym shorts and t-shirt. Now that its cooling down outside - track pants and hoody.

2 - nothing except a condom on the nightstand in case the tooth fairy shows up and wants to get jiggy, (I hear she likes it in the mouth!).

3 - A Flinstones necktie -'nuff said.

4 - Most items of clothing that look great when you try them on at the store, but then not so hot when you put them on at home.
