Murica's "salt of the earth", the Murican Farmer, uses USDA climate data on their newfangled computers! Who knew?
Today's modern farmer regularly use computers to access USDA climate information, in order to make informed decisions about when to plant, irrigate and harvest crops by using the USDA climate database for information such as historical pinpointed temperature by date by zipcode and rainfall to date by zipcode.
Project 2025 takes a dim view of "that science stuff in general" and regards recording climate data as an abomination in the eyes of our Lord 'n Savior Jesus H. Christ.
As soon as Mango Mussolini ascended to His rightful place on the American throne, the USDA climate databases went dark.
This left today's modern farmers helpless.....they were now forced to do the seat-of-the-pants farming like their grandpappy used to do (i.e. spit on their finger and hold it up to judge wind, etc) and were facing the real possibility of below average yields, which put their spare-no-expense off-season trips to Disney World at risk.
So they are suing in Federal court for the return of public access to public USDA climate databases so they can once more maximize their crop yields.
Farmers usin' computers. Jaysus, times have changed.
