He tried not to look, to keep to his work...but the allure of the young woman amongst the hospitable scents of
a savory kitchen enveloped his scences with thoughts of the
home left behind. Dane entertained thoughts of conversation
with the young girl, but the will to please his ward was imparative. However, Dane knew that his real struggle was
a clubfoot. Ever since birth Dane's foot was the source of many a problem, mentally and physically. Yet, in time Dane became strong and grew into his handicapp, proving time and time and time again to be a horse among the mules, but alas an ass among the ladies. This surely was an embarassment to the lad, certainly Betty would see no real interest in a wounded man.
 
Forgive me. This was my first attempt to write a passage, and it was meant as a reply not a New Thread.
The original work was from Morgoth...I tried to delete, but to no avail...sorry.
 
Hey, I'm glad you didn't delete it. It sounds interesting to me, and the possibilites*(gah, never could get that word right) are endless.
