OOC: In the world of old, Nekos were used as slaves by some Elves (The more powerful ones) and Humans. The lower-class Elves were also used as slaves by their own kind and Humans.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Naoko stood on a marble stage in the center of a High Elven town, to be sold as a slave to a new master. The previous master had decided that he could no longer keep her around, as she used anything (claws, fangs, knives) to keep him from touching her. He, himself, could not defeat her, even though he rarely gave her a strap of food.
Naoko's silky silver (slightly blue) hair reached to her waist...her tail and ears matching the rare hue perfectly. Her previous master had dressed her in garb ment for a servent of her looks: thong underwear with hanging down cloth in front and back (reaching to the ground), and a small top with no bra underneath; all silver in color. She was in the prime of her youth (Which is about 100 Human years, but only about 20 in Neko), her breasts firm, size of C38. Her entire body was muscular without a healthy amount of fat, do to being over-worked and underfed. She glanced over the crowd of her new possible master with her metallic blue eyes, hoping that her next might show her an ounce of kindness...

OCC: Other slaves are welcome, as well.

Kalanthalas of the House of Silvermoon

Kalanthalas saw the young neko as she was being paraded upon the stage like some form of humanoid cattle. Slavery turned Kalanthalas's stomache. He believed that slavery was something that the lesser humans and other lower races should aspire twards not Elves being as powerful as the where they needed no slaves. Kalanthalas was of the house Silvermoon the second in line for the throne of Quildenarestia the most prominante of the elven home lands. He wore a pair of scimitars at his hip and his long silver hair was tied back from his eyes by a leather strap to keep it from his eyes, which where almond in color. He was only 115 years which was just adulthood amongst the long lived elven race. He stood 6'2" and weighed near 145 pounds of corded muscle from hours of endless practice in the art of swordplay with Master Annulus Silverblade. Kalanthalas saw his father as he made the final bid on the Neko and paid the slaver. Kalanthalas shook his head disgusted by his father's actions but spoke never his disapproval of his actions for to do so would bring dishonor to him. So he just learned to deal as best he could with his father's supererority complex which drove him to buy more and more slaves for his home.

Naoko listened to the brutes place money on owning her, looking forward into the crowd with a mask of emotionlessness. She learned young that if you allowed the new master to think that you were weak, he wouldn't hesitate to do whatever he wanted with you. Because of this fact, she made it a point to -never- lower her eyes from a person when being spoken to, and to -never- hang her head like a frightened child. She found that this sometimes put a master into a fit of rage, perhaps beating her and shouting out how insignificant she is compared to him, but that always gave her a reason to fight back...
The final bid was made, and the slaver grabbed her by the collar roughly, yanked her forward, and latched a metal leash to the small ring around her throat.
"She's all yours," the man happy announced, handing the leash to the man.
Naoko looked over her new owner's face. She took in from his clothes that he must be awefully rich...which was good news to Naoko. The richer, the more slaves, the less attention Naoko would get...and perhaps the more often she could steal some food...

Kalanthalas of the House of Silvermoon

As his father led the new slave from the crowd of assembled elves Kalann,as he was called by family and friends, fell in beside his father an walked to where the horses were tied in a nearby stable. Kalann felt eyes upon him and when he turned to the sensation he realized it was the piercing metallic blue eyes of the young neko woman. He hated to see any life treated so especially one of a young and attractive woman such as this. The sorrow he felt flowed into his eyes which he couldn't control.
Though he shed no tears for the girl he felt a deep seated sorrow that his father was the owner of yet another life. His sorrow disturbed him for he had always been taught not to feel for the lesser slave races, but he did and always had. He had only recently began to let this feeling show in aiding in the escape of several of his father's slaves to the wilderness beyond the Qualith river the border of the elven lands.
Kalann was the most prominant of the Slave freers but he was not alone in his task he had friends and allies in almost all of the noble elven houses. He answered the unyeilding gaze by leveling one back at those eyes which had seen too much for their years and held a knowledge of hatred far beyond that of many twice this young one's age. He smiled when he realized his father wouldn't break such a noble spirit when his own son would be cutting his legs out from beneith him at every step. Maybe there was some hope of helping this girl, maybe.

Naoko eyed the Elves about herself in great distain as she was led to the stable. She would have loved nothing more than to rip out their eyes from their arrogent faces...that way they could never find pleasure in seeing her bleed, cry...or even ever judge her by her appearce ever again. Without the cat ears and tail she would be a Human, after all...
Her near-glare of hatred eventually fell upon eyes with an expression that she had never seen. The noticing of this brought her back to reality, out from her ammolational fantasies.
The elf had beautiful almond eyes, and shining silver hair like her own, only without the tint of blue. For a moment her face got a look of slight puzzlement, trying to decipter what it was in his eyes. Was it...pity?
The look of puzzlement faded away from her face as she looked over at some man yelling something back at the stage. Naoko hadn't realized that they were selling more than five slaves this day (herself and four before her). Naoko secretly thanked the distraction, otherwise she knew she would not have been able to pry herself away from the Elf's eyes. She felt a dire need to aviod those eyes...because she couldn't hate them...

Momi...

Momi watched the Neko in front of her get bought and sold, well, like a piece of furniture. It was almost her turn, and she was feeling the first stirrings of fear.

She was no where near as exotic and beautiful as those first five Neko were, especially that one who was just sold. Momi was from of the less adventurous breeds. Her ears and tail were a nice soft black, matching her shoulder length hair. She saw the spirit and beauty the other girls had, and knew she couldn't compare. She was one of the more timid ones. Happy in her lowly place, well, as happy as a slave could be. That was actually her greatest problem. Momi was too eager to please, too eager to become whatever they wanted. That's what her last owner said. She could feel the familiar tearing at the hurt those words caused. She couldn't help that she wanted to please, right?

Oh well, it was time for her to be sold yet again. Maybe this time she could find someone who would enjoy her plaint ways? She let out a breath as she was bought and sold like all the others. Soft brown eyes glanced about. Maybe this one would perfect for her?

Naoko watched the next slave come on to the stage, taking in the meloncholly look on her face. She must've been submissive...with no will to fight back. She almost wished that they were going to have the same owner, so she could help her find the courage to stand up for herself.
She turned her head back to watch the Elves around her, returning to the thoughts of ripping their eyes out to preoccupy her thoughts.

Kef, halfling of the wizards of ryme

Kef heard the shouts coming from behind him as he ran he knew he must not be caught. He wore a large cloak wich when unfastened formed a large cape with a big hood for his head. The Wizards of ryme were a dying breed of human wizards with cast there magic in ryme of word, but haveing only one parent of the wizard heritage Kef's magic was somewhat unreliable in more ways than one. Being orphaned early as a child, he was forced to turn to thievery to survive and had been in a close scrape more than once, makeing him to become quick and resouseful. After scaming some rich elves, who were not to fond of humans to begin with, out of their money with the classic "guess the shell the ball is under scam, He found himself fleeing from the royal guard again, flying down the streets of the town. He heard a large crowd of people and decided to head for it hopeine to lose himself in the crowd. Flying round the corner he crashed right into a richly cald figure knocking them both to the ground. Looking up at the persons face and relised it was none other than Kalanthalas, ere to the throne, "Oh shi...."

Anthia - Weaver/Seamstress

For years Anthia's son, Kriechin, had begged her to get some help to run the house. She thought she could do it herself, but as the years took their toll on this poor, kind woman she soon realized she needed someone, anyone to help her. Thats when she turned to her neighbour for advice. He suggested she get a Neko slave. They were cheap he said, and good workers if you knew how to treat them. He mentioned an auction that week, and invited her to attend with himself and his son.
She accepted, and the whole time she sat there, wondering what she could have been thinking. The Neko women looked tough and forcefull. Her neighbour mentioned that with a firm hand, they would listen. Look at all the ones he himself had. Still, she was unsure until a particular Neko stood on the stage. She looked frightened and Anthia's heart went out to her. There was shouting and cursing as the biding went on and Anthia looked around for some help, but her neighbour had already departed with his purchase. She finally got up the nerve to call out a price and when it was over, she was the owner of a Neko girl.

Taking the girl by the arm, Anthia led her to a more quiet area where she could speak.

"Please, don't be afraid. My name is Anthia." She was about to ask the young Neko's name when she heard a comotion coming from the stables.

OOC : SD(Momi), not what you're looking for? let me know.
Kalann, what are your parent(s) names?? :)
Looking for someone to play Kriechin (love interest for Momi perhaps?)
Btw, Anthia is a homan woman, around 60years old, long gray hair, azure eyes, 5'3''.

Mind if i be Kriechin?

Dea Artia midn if i be Kreichin? seem sliek a guy id enjoy trying :)

IC: Kriechin wlaks into the stables, and see sumone tyring to do sumthign to his Favortie Horse. He rushes in a yells "Hey you! get away form there!" Kriechin rushes in, and starst to wrestle with the thief. After a quick struggle, Kriechin pulls off the thiefs hood revealing a beuatiful Young Elvin girl. The Girl then runs away, and Kriechin begisn to follow, but His Mother enters, form the other side of the stables.

Kriechin wlaks over to his mother, and just b4 he reaches, her, she pulls in a Necko girl... The girl's hair was covering her face. As Kriechin wlak up, and hugs his mother, and moves over tot he girl. He reaches over to vrush the hair out of her face, but she jerks away. He says ot her soothingly "Don't worry, I'm not goign to harm you." He slowly reaches in,a nd bushes the hair out of her face, revealing some of the most beautiful eyes, he has ever seen.

Momi...

It was finally over. She was sold to someone else. Someone kinder than her previous owner?

Momi was shaking like a leaf by the time her new owner had her by the arm. It took all of her knock-kneed courage not to starting crying right then and there. The woman may have sounded nice and seemed nice, but Momi knew that most owners started out that way. Her head dipped down even lower. Was this...Anthia going to get mad at Momi too? Tears came to her eyes, but luckily there was something going on over by the stables. It gave her enough time to wipe the tears away.

That's the way Kriechin first saw her, with tears darkening soft brown eyes and shaky courage in hand. Momi's first thought was that the lady...Anthia wasn't her new owner, but as she studied the two more she noticed the resemblance. They both were her new owners, a mother and son. That means that both of them were going to be disappointed in her.

She wouldn't let the tears come back anymore. The disappointment wouldn't come this time. All she had to do was act exactly how they wanted her two. That should be easy for her, she's done it all her life.

OOC: Dea, It's perfect.

Anthia - weaver/seamstress

"Sweetheart", says Anthia hugging her son. "I didn't think you were going to make it. Thank you for coming." It was then that she noticed the look on her sons face as he watched the timid Neko girl. A smile crept to the old womans face.
"Now then" she said looking at Momi "I want to get you home. You could do with a wash and perhaps something to eat? Kriechen, would you be a dear and fetch us a buggy. I'd hate to have to walk home, especially with rain coming."

With a pouting look, Kriechen pulls his gaze away from Momi long enough to nod at his mother and leaves in search of something to bring the women home in.

Anthia wanted to thank her neighbour for bringing them to the auction but she realized they were busy with someone. Who was that person Kalann was talking to anyway, she wondered. He certainly does look familiar? Bringing her thoughts back to her own situation, she realized she didn't even know the girls name. With a little laugh she asked her. "You know, I don't even know your name. What is it dear?"

Kriechin

Kriechin, goes towards a carrage hoooke dup to his horse, and makes ure the harnesses were securely fastened. Moving over to the side, to the Carrages door, and opens it and downs forward, "Yes praytell, m'lady. What is your name?" Kriehcin motions for them both to enter the carrage.

Momi...

"I--I'm Momi ... M'la--Mistress," she barely got out over the lump in her throat. "I--I was w--washed earlier." Why did they both keep looking at her like that, like they actually might like her? It made her feel uncomfortable. Her gaze went to the ground after she took a quick peek at Kriechin then at the carriage.

Momi waited a moment to see what the Lady Anthia would do. She knew that some didn't like for slaves to ride with them, and it wouldn't do to displease her new owners on the first day, so to speak. So, Momi waited and waited and waited before she dared a glance at them again. Where they still staring at her...like that?

Anthia

With a look of a loving mother, Anthia took the girl by her arm and guided her into the carriage, following her in and sitting down beside her.

"Momi, what a lovely name. I'll bet we'll get along just find you and me. And don't go calling me Mistress or other such nonesense. My name is Anthia, or you can call me Auntie. Most people do. *Smiles kindly at Momi* Now, you won't have to do all the heavy work, thats Kriechin's job. Mostly helping me out around the house, keeping it clean, getting water from the well, that sort of thing. Now dear, don't look so frightened. I've got a room all ready for you with a nice soft matress of feathers and there is a window over-looking the garden."

Anthia tried to make pleasant talk along the way home but after a while she realized Momi wasn't really paying attention. The poor dear, thought Anthia. She really is a shy one. Of course, she had no idea what Momi had been through, and it would have disturbed Anthia to learn the harshness of growing up as a slave. To Anthia, Momi was more of a helpful friend. She even went as far as to save some money to pay the girl. Not much, just a little something in case Momi wanted to get something for herself. She hoped Momi would like staying with her. She couldn't do much around the house, and it was getting harder and harder to thread the needles she used to weave and sew.

Perhaps, she thought, Momi would like to learn to weave. What a useful hobby that was....

Happy Momi...?

She listened to all Anthia said as if memorizing each detail. Her attention only straying at the mention of Kriechin before she quickly brought it back to the present conversation.

Her own room? With a mattress AND a window? That was all she could think about, even as Anthia continued tried to talk to her before giving up. She was getting her own room! Momi couldn't stop that childlike delight from growing within herself. That meant that they may actually like her and weren't all that disappointed by her less than exotic breed.

If they were disappointed in her, then they wouldn't have given her her own room. She sat up noticeably straighter as that thought settled in. They might even like her! A smile that may have been a bit shaky, but it was a smile nonetheless, spread over her lips and lit up her face.

She was going to do everything she could to please these two. She was going to be the perfect slave for them...

OOC: I don't think my master's going to be posting anymore...so I'll just have to get away.

My eyes darted back to the figure of a Human before one of my new masters, and it appeared that he was going to be cut down as the nameless master began to draw his blade.
Quickly I dashed inbetween the two, pushing them appart. I looked at the man for a second, giving him a look to run. Then I looked back at the Elf, my gaze pleading him not to do anything irrational.

Kef, halfling of the wizards of ryme

Seeing the look ine the fleeing elf's eyes and knowing when to take a hint, quickly took flight behind her, while taking his hand and saying something like "stench of bog, give us fog", quickly tuning long enouph to thrust his hands out infront of him, causing the croud left behind to instantly be shrouded in a deep fog causing confusion and giving the two fleeing individuals a head start.

Kriechin

Kriechin gets onto his horse, and begisn to ride the Carrage along throught he city, on his way home...

OOC:Mom (hehe ^^) Where do we live? City or Country?

Kriechin

Kriechin pulls the carrage up to, His Mother's and his's, Home. As he jumps off his horse, he goes over tot he carrage door, and opens it.

Home at last...

Momi awoke from her little trance as Kriechin opened the carriage door. Soft brown eyes staring at him, helplessly. He was so handsome!

An embarrassed flush colored her skin as she released her Mistress was watching her watch Kriechin. Momi dipped her head low to let shoulder length hair cover her face. She would have to remember to not do that anymore. It wouldn't be a good idea to have her Mistress think Momi was lusting after her son.

Momi stepped out of that carriage and moved to stand a little behind Kriechin while he assisted Anthia out. It was a good time to for her to work on her idea of being pleasing to the both of them. " Mistre--Anthia, Master...you have a lovely home."

She didn't dare speak Kriechin's name. She hadn't been formally introduced to him, nor had he given her leave to speak it. For all she knew, he wasn't as kindly as Anthia, and Momi couldn't stand the thought of either of the two to be disappointed in her behavior.

Anthia

Getting down from the carriage, Anthia knew rain would soon arrive and she wanted to make sure everything outside was taken care of. Looking around her land, she couldn't help but think of how much she loved this place.

The house rested in a picturesque type of place. With trees on the east and north side, a river flowing south on the west side and a small garden in the front to the east side. Anthia loved her house, from the garden path leading to the front door to the large windows to let in sunshine. Her husband had built it many years ago when they first came to this land, and Kriechin was born right here in the back bedroom where Anthia slept. Over the years the house changed to go with the times. Anthia's husband insisted on getting the best for his wife, which included a large stone fireplace, an extra room for her looms and odds and ends she needed for her crafts. That room now contained the neccesary items for Momi, the loom resting by the hearth until Anthia needed it.

Coming back to the present, Anthia glanced over at Momi and saw a look in her eyes that told but Momi soon looked down, her hair sheilding her face.

"Well" she said, breaking the silence. "This is home. Your home now too Momi." (at Kriechin) "Would you be a dear and makee sure the horses are fed and taken care of? Oh, and check to make sure the well is covered, and that the gate is closed from the north pasture? Last time it rained I had a bunch of cows grazing in my garden! Take Momi along with you and you can show her around the place." With that said, she started walking up the path that led to the house when she realized something she had forgotten and turned back to the two youngin's.

"Goodness me" she exclaimed. "I never did introduce you two did I? How foolish of me! Momi darling, this is my son Kriechin. Kriechin, this is Momi. There now. I'll have dinner ready when you return." Please with herself, Anthia continued on the path, into the house and closed the door behind her.

Momi

"I.. There's no need Mistr... Sh--shouldn't I help...?" What happened? Momi could remember her Mistress coming out and talking a mile a minute before disappearing! She blinked her confusion. Shouldn't she try to help with dinner? Anthia didn't say anything about it, the crafty old woman...

Momi gave a curious peek at Kriechin to his reaction to his mother's dizzying affects, but he seemed if not totally used to it, to just go along with the flow. Maybe she could learn to be just like that?

"M--master, is she always like that...?" There was amazement in her voice whether over her surprise that those words came out of her mouth or over the fact that he didn't seem to be mad at her daring, was debatable. "I didn't mean that! I--I'm sorry." All at once a wary but resigned look came to her face before head drooped down. She would be in trouble now.

Kriechin

Kriechin Gently puts his hand on Momi's cheek. "Don't worry m'lady. My mother does tend to ramble on sometimes, but thats why i love her. And no you don't have to help with dinner. My mother is very particular about that, she always has to cook somehting fanciful, and she most likely doesnt want to make you work on your first night here. "Kriehcin says Kreichin slightly smiling. "So, you can come along with me, and enjoy the veiw of the orchard, and the plains. It really is quite beautiful here at Sunset."

Momi...

"Are you sure? I wouldn't want to get anyone mad." She didn't want to add that she didn't want to be a burden to him. He probably had something better to do than show a slave around. "I know you have a lot you do, Master. I can find my own way about if you want to work."

Momi turned and started off towards the garden. It was the only thing she could do. She would rather leave and get into trouble then hear him say he would rather do something else.
