Due to a recent petition, I have decided to create a new thread here, for the express purpose of posting new avatar images for others to use as they see fit.
Anyone is free to post images, the only limitations that ask you to place upon yourselves is that you 1) keep in mind this is a fantasy/sci fi forum, so try to keep relatively to the genres, and 2) submit all images as images, not attachments.
This means that the image should be immediately viewable from the main page. This is to avoid the extra time and effort required to open attachment files, which can cost a great deal of time among those of us who possess dial-up connections.
the goal of this thread thread is to provide a database of images which is easy to use, immediately viewable, and easy and fast to scroll through.
If anybody wants any of these, let me know, I'd be more than happy to resize them as avatars for you.

Any or all of these pictures may be copyrighted elsewhere, I am simply displaying them here, and assume that others are doing the same. Where artists or owners have signed the prints, such is shown. I am only helping to show the pics to a wider audience, and wish in no way to infringe upon anyone's rights to their property or trademarks.
