Having read a LOT of the stories in the BDSM section, I was wondering how close they are to the reality.

For example, there are a lot of stories with Dom arriving at regional airport and being met by previously online sub. Or driving into her city for a conference and having her visit his hotel room.

There are mysterious strangers who kidnap a woman and after being spanked/whipped she somehow falls in lurve.. and then there are the rich guys with limos and horses etc etc who charm sub who doesn't realise she is..blah blah..

So anyone actually experience anything like the stories ? Or even wilder ? Are there doms out there who do the dashing Black Knight stuff and sweep beautiful subbie into His arms, to have His wicked way with her forever and ever ?

Just wondering.. (sigh)

LOL, we did the thing of him arriving at the international terminal and then our heading for the apartment I had found us overlooking the water, not leaving the unit for a few days....and married 2 weeks later. :)

Edited now time permits to add the moment I read his first email I had a pleasant tingle for no obvious reason.....called a girlfriend and told her in a stunned mood that I thought I had finally found the one...think she thought I had lost the plot!! We talked online for about 3 1/2 months during which time he surprised both of us by telling me we were getting married even though we had not met, then sent me the money, sent paperwork back and forth across the ocean, and had me book the wedding day before his arrival. He placed his collar around my neck in the middle of the airport terminal during our first kiss...lol, it was so hot it stopped quite a few people in awed midstep......I can only describe it as magic as he was not the first I had visit from overseas or local, and he was not the first to offer a D/s relationship....and neither of us are usually impulsive people or take unrealistic chances to that degree. ;)

I think i went over this somewhere else but....

I flew 12 hours from Alaska to Ohio, then drove from central western Ohio to Rochester New York, where I waited for an hour outside the bus terminal for her. When she arrived, i recognized her immediately, and called out "Hey, French Girl!"

And the rest is history.

Well, almost. Later I drove her back to her home in New York, did some personal time, then came and picked her back up, and we drove to Cooperstown New York, where i subjected her to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Being a Quebecer this was a torture beyond the pale.

We are doing it again in July, but in reverse.

I guess I fit in the fairy tale catagory. Think... prince rescuing young virgin from evil fortress and living hapily ever after.

He only lived an hour away so we skipped the airport part. We found each others' profiles online at collarme.com on the afternoon of June 25th 2004 (the very same day i first registered and started my search at collarme). That evening we played email tag, exchanged Yahoo names, then chatted a bit during which time we set up to meet the next day. i drove there and we sat and talked for a few hours. It was clear enough this early on ... it was meant to be, we both wanted the same things which include 24/7 D/s. Within a week, on July 3rd, i proudly accepted His collar. By week two we knew we would marry and all that needed to be decided was the 'how & when'. The how & when took effect, He relocated from RI to MA where we set up apartment in Feb & married on April 25, 2005.

No shining armor, nor horses nor airplanes needed (certainly no cyber/online relationship experience ... we jumped right into 'real time' D/s from the start) ... yet there's no doubt in my mind that some type of magic took place for us to find each other. He's more than i ever dreamed of, and even better .... He's real & He's now my Master, and Husband.

you passed right by my house and didnt even stop for coffee? :p

Well, all my stories and poems that I've posted here at LIT come from real experiences, in fact none are exaggerated. That's where I get most of my material. The new ones I write with Master are fantasy but incorporate tasks or actions I have or have not done.

There's the story of the slightly dysfunctional artistic Domme who got sidetracked by this pretty starched shirt looking uptight-preppy dude when she and some friends went to distribute flyers for a warehouse party. And the world of scrambling for paychecks, drinking cheap wines and eating cheap dinners, making costume jewery, restoring a classic car, having two cats, and a small apartment in a Midwestern city. Altogether a pretty dull read punctuated by the periodic rubber or leather or bondage perversion.

There was this really romantic first date that started as morning coffee, reconvened as a date later after she was done with work and ended sometime in the wee hours. No airports or anything though.

Slower than most, I guess, we knew we'd be married at about month six, got engaged on our one-year anniversary.
