I love fancy dress, and I've been a magician, St George, King Arthur, Death, A hippy, Harpo Marx, Elvis Costello, and most creatively, at very short notice, a tube of Signal Toothpaste!
Cheers

Frank and I love to wear historic costumes. My best Valentine's Day ever was when he bought me a maroon Victorian gown, I wore that and he wore his tux, tails, top-hat, and spats to an elegant dinner for 6 couples, complete with jazz band and dance floor. SSSOOOO romantic, and I couldn't wait to get home and tumble into bed with him. Come to think of it, we never did make it to the bed, only the floor, tub, shower...

Ever hear of Lillie Hitchcock Coit? Coit Tower in San Francisco was named after her. She was a young, wealthy San Francisco socialite in the late 19th century, and she loved to dress as a volunteer firefighter and hang around fires and firehouses. They made her an honorary firefighter. So I dressed as her, and Frank accompanied me dressed as a 19th century firefighter, too. Coit was, like me, short, dark-haired, and busty, so I looked the part. I loved the way the tight red wool shirt accentuated my 38C bust, and so did Frank and other men who saw me. I had FUN! The snapshot's a little blurry, but gives you the idea.

I like the idea of a schoolgirl outfit, I'll have to try it some time. I wish I had the guts to wear some of the wench costumes I see at the Renaissance Fair, too!

hehe thats really cool latina ... i wouldnt mind trying to wear historic costumes one time sounds very sexy

I guess I shouldn't really admit this, but since I'm confessing alot today on this board...

YES! I played dress up like any kid does, I was young dumb and full of... well it doesn't matter, but I did it to impress this girl, seeing how I was so young, I didn't know any better.

/hanging my head in shame

Yes, sexy-girl, wearing historic costumes can make one feel very sexy. I work in a store that sells modern reproductions of Victorian clothing. As a sales clerk, I'm expected to own and model the outfits at work. I love how it's all so demure until I get home and then sometimes he lifts my ankle-length skirt to see what's underneath. Or I just stretch out on the bed to rest and let the skirt drape open invitingly. Sometimes I'll slip off my panties on the drive home and give him a nice surprise! These old-style outfits just naturally seem to inspire fun and loving playfulness. I have a western cowgirl style outfit that inspired one of my erotic stories on this site, Old West Cowgirl.

Here we are on our wedding day in historic costumes, at the restored Victorian mansion where we were wed.

There is a BDSM club that is having an upcoming meeting with the "Back To School" theme in dress--I am very tempted to go--it would be mucho fun to wear a plaid kilt and braid my hair and be sweet for one day.
; )

Anybody else in H-town planning to go?

i have been a roman at a toga party
a vampire complete with false teeth/fangs
and won second prise as a baby with a sheet as a nappy[diaper] and a teat on a bottle of guinness to drink
am planning to go to wwf new york in the spring as either buh ba ray dudley or stone cold steve austin , depending on whether i shave my head or not

I love to play dress up-the fancier, the better. I have several different Faire costumes. My favorite is my wench outfit. I am petite, so don't have a lot of cleavage, but it is fun. I am hoping to have full court dress next year. If we ever get married, we will have a faire wedding, complete with an arch of swords & a pirate escort. I also love clothes from the 50's & early 60's. I have a green taffeta "Sandra Dee" dress that I wore to my college graduation. There is a little vintage clothing store that I love to visit when I see my sister. The owner will let us play dress up for hours. I wore authentic southern belle garb in a fashion show years ago, complete with a whalebone corset-amazingly uncomfortable, but I was the only one who was little enough to fit in it.

If you are in to Victorian or Renasiance type stuff--the catalogues are full of them this coming season (sewing catalogues anyway) and throught tomorrow, HobbyLobby has all their Smplicity patterns at 1.99$ each.

Gotta go check it out if you are even the least bit inclined.

I went today and got a cute scrub pattern--actually one that is not unisex for the first time ever!!!!!
