fan clubs?

So there are a LOT of writers and clearly even more readers here on Literotica and what I wonder is are there any sort of formal or informal fan clubs? I have my 'favorites' of course but I'm talking about something a little more communal and formalized? Cause if not I was thinking of putting something together. Any and all responses would be welcome.

How many actual members there are is hard to say. Just for argument let's say 700,000. The member list shows more than that, but some members have more than one account.

How many are active is another question. Maybe half.

How many actually write and p ost here? Maybe a few hundred..

Fan clubs? Not that I know of.

Fan clubs are a personal thing and it would take a large support group of readers interested in one writer to make one. It would have to be broken down by genre to name the most favourited author of it and even then, would the author want a fan club? Nice idea, but who gets picked to be idolized? If you have a writer(s) in mind, ask them how they feel and then ask the general audience if they are interested.

Dulcet, you should go to your User CP and turn on your 'accept private messages' thingy. There is a group, I've lost the link, where a few writers and their fans interact and I do believe this helps generate a dedicated readership for those few authors who are a part of it. Of course, you're looking at it from the fans perspective, but if you could see how they do it, it might give you a few ideas on how you might be able to go about it. Of course, it helps if the author is actively involved.

I might be able to find the link, but I'm not going to post it here.
