Falsely accused cheating stories

I remember reading a story or two in the past where a husband or wife was accused of cheating by their spouse but in reality was not. Normally I prefer when this is only a bump in the road, and doesn't lead to anything drastic (like actual cheating, revenge or divorce), but those are fine, too.

So, does anyone know off-hand of any stories that have that theme? I was trying to figure out a tag to look for but couldn't think of one that was simplified enough.

Try this one, I think you might like it.

Until Death Do Us Part

Thanks for the suggestion, but that story wasn't really my cup of tea. She may not have actually cheated, but she led her husband to believe she did so she could justifiably murder him. Not the kind of person I can root for.

Maybe I should have specified that the kind of story I'm looking for ends with the original couple reconciling.

This might be more to your taste

He raped her, assaulted and abused her. Seems 100% justifiable. And he accused her of cheating WITHOUT her prompting it. All her life. She just took out the trash (as they say in Texas, he needed killin'). She's EXACTLY the kind of person I can - and anyone moral and ethical should - root for.b

That's what they want over there these days.
