Hmmmm i've been playing too much fallout new vegas... anyone interested??

We'll be doing an original take through the following premise:

NCR has taken over the Mojave Wasteland (NCR Ending)

Upcoming details will be sorted out later if EVER XD

Sounds interesting. I played a lot of Fallout. But since Skyrim, (which I'm playing right now) I've been addicted to Skyrim. But I love the Fallout Series.

i know what you mean about skyrim XD but fallout is still a good game for me, i just wish they would change the game... what am i gonna do with 200+ cram in my refrigerator??? i barely eat XD

hmmm so we have 1 taker i guess... we'll need a few more.

Additional Information on the story:
(Note: I always wondered WHY the Vault Dweller AND Chosen One's ancestry was forgotten... and since these guys have abandoned the originals... let's bring them to NEW VEGAS :p)

Several squads are now assigned to the Mojave Wasteland, now that the immediate Legion threat is over, to map out the Wasteland and secure any important facilities. One member of a particular squad is the direct descendant of the Chosen One. What else will they uncover in the Mojave and what trials will the NCR face now that the imminent Legion threat is pacified... for the moment.

The main character from Fallout 2, is remember. By that mutant who leads the other in Jacobstown. He mentions that his friend left for parts unknown.
Also I agree. I play hardcore mode, yet still rarely eat. Too much nuka cola... Mmmmm.... Nuka Cola. :D

I'm. thinking of making my character a Vault Dweller. However he's not from any of the vaults in Nevada. I was thinking of making him be a resident of Vault in... Utah. Lets say vault 36? The vault went into a state of chaos (maybe an uprising) and my guy is the only survivor. He eventually made his way west to New Vegas.

Also all the Fallout series take Ola e i. the United States. But they never mention whats going on in other countries. Did they build vaults. Or were we the only country that took precautions?

hmmmm my place at the lucky 38 is enough to arm... 200 or so NCR troopers XD heck... somehow i understand what HARDCORE mode does... but it would be nice to DO something with the excess items... i collected 300 9mm pistols already and i can't sell them because it would take 4 days travel to sell them all... gun runner, 188, primm, goodsprings, crimson caravan... blech....

btw, did you follow from Goodspring, Primm, Nipton, Novac, 188, Boulder City, New Vegas???

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
SQUAD ROLE
Commander
Sniper
Heavy Weapon Specialists
Infiltrator (Hacker/Rogue)
Demolitions
Scout

Note: People can take multiple roles, but to avoid the confusion of all those weapons, people who take on roles should ONLY use their specialized weapon as well as a secondary firearm.

THAT WOULD REALLY SUCK IF ONLY THE US BUILT VAULTS :p

Hmmmm would it be too confusing to have 2 separate groups arrive at New Vegas, meet up and then pair off by twos or threes to face their new threat... (Might need help with this one, anyone up for Enclave revival :p)

And sure no problem with your character

(I'll round up the Final Story Edition once we work out the kinks)

I loved the Enclave. I always like them in Fallout 3 and wished you could join them. There the American Government after all. Go President John Henry Edan. :D I don't mind the Enclave coming back.

hmmmm well you could always meet up with the enclave, get recruited by them to infiltrate New Vegas (controlled by NCR) and find out the potential weakness and get caught up in whatever scheme we have going on :p

OH yeah, I really miss the Fallout 3, especially the stealth suit... the stealth suit in New Vegas... sucks

That sounds good. Perfect idea. My guy will be an Enlave member. Maybe the Enclave group, that I join, is the he last group of survivors from their defeat in the Capital Wasteland. Maybe President Eden with them. Or maybe their an independent group who ruled the Central United States. Different from the East Coast and West Coast Enclave.

... how can they carry such a huge and vast computer network with them???

He's a computer. So he's bound to be able to transfer his Dara into a holotape or some other device. The huge super structure that he wad housed in allowed him to control the base's defenses, vehicles, resources, utilities, etc. So without that housing system, or similar device, he's. completely powerless.

well i'll leave the enclave side to you :) hmmm here's to a bright future to this thread XD

Hmmm btw, do we or do we not include the Courier?

Hmmm... I don't know. Maybe he's just an influential character who we can converse to, be doesn't join us on our trips. But who worries about those trips. It's Vegas baby. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. We'll be havingtoo much fun to do adventuring. Gambling, music, dancing, sex, socializing... the list goes on.

Interested, was also thinking of doing an enclave officer/sniper, along those same lines... But you beat me to the punch!

yeah we so need female writers... at least 3 would make me oh so happy :) in fact, i'd even be happy with a female courier XD

Seems kind of interesting. I've been meaning to write an actual RP. I personally would like my character a wanderer an explorer not affiliated with any faction.

Also all the Fallout series take Ola e i. the United States. But they never mention whats going on in other countries. Did they build vaults. Or were we the only country that took precautions?

I like to think countries like Russia would look something like Metro 2033, even though it's not in the same year as Fallout.

Sure Spectre... if you want, you could play as a Lone Wanderer coming from DC... or some other wanderer :p

Yeah, mine would simply be a wanderer too. None of this faction-association palava. Been an avid Bethesda fan since BG, and since Oblivion I've taken the role of simply drifting place to place, looting the hell out of everything and selling it.

In Fallout 3, it really took into its own. I loved the atmosphere of stumbling across an old abandoned factory, slowly sneaking inside and sifting through floors of junk for anything worthy of caps.

In New Vegas, it wasn't as fun. The map was too small, and whilst an exceptional game, the DLC was necessary to complete my little scavenger role. Otherwise you simply bumbled into the REPCONN factory or something, oddly enough being the only one you had any chance of really stumbling upon.

But yeah, in a role play I'd really emphasise the classic picture. A person walking into the distance with a rifle slung on his or her back and a dog by my side. No heavy armour, just a wasteland wanderer outfit, or a duster. A Colt .45 sat on the hip, a hunting rifle on the back and a companion to slog it with.

Screw Caesar's Legion and the NCR, they'll eventually wither and die anyway. The Brotherhood of Steel is a dying species and the Enclave is nigh on wiped out. The smaller factions aren't big enough to survive, so bye-bye Boomers, Great Khans, etc. For the Fallout 3 lot, they're already gone anyway.

Its the life of a drifter for me. ;)

Actually, as someone has already claimed the Wanderer tag I believe, I'll settle for NCR Ranger, the veterans in the Pre-War Riot Gear and Dusters. Washed out and longing for a bit more action outside of regular patrols, the constant threat of the Legion and not to mention how fast Vegas is falling apart, I settle my caps, but up an Anti-Material and saddled with Rex and a Ranger Sequoi, set off into the distance from the Mojave Outpost. Same as before, just slightly different from an actual wanderer.

I think we need more female writers before getting more males. currently there's 4 Males and 0 Females.
