Howdy, all. Got a new question, not here (just) to brag. My most recent story was favorited by a user who just joined today, and I visited the user's profile to note I've as well been added to the same user's Favorite Authors List. Actually, I AM his/her Favorite Authors List (still not bragging). However, that part did not pop up in my Recent Activity feed like the story favorite did. So come to think of it, I realized I hadn't seen any Favorite Authors List notifications in a little while. And yes, the last one in my Activity was on 5/16. And while it's certainly possible there just haven't been any since—with the exception of this one today—based on the patterns of past submissions' results, it seems unlikely (STILL not bragging). Has anyone else noticed this, and can possibly shed a little light on what's going on with it for me? Thank yas much. Happy Readin', Happy Writin'. —Smokey

Yes, we've already had threads about the "favorite author" notification not working, and Manu, the Web site technical guy noted it.

Going to get a lot of these I'm sure.

The favorites feature is something authors love and the majority of them don't come to the forums, but will now looking for an answer and they aren't going to know how many times its been asked.

The thing about favs is authors love to know who many they have, but unless you're on the top 250 list, the only way you know is tracking recent activity, which has ben out the window for over a week now.

Past track record is not encouraging for it to ever come back.
