I trust no one will mind me placing this here - Fakir and Cleo are long time centers of the DBSM / body play community and I am excited to see them still doing events - this will be a rare opertunity for those in the UK
I was part of the drumming crew for Fakir and Cleo for several years. As much as I wish I could attend and once again let Fakir pierce me in public and pubic, stories from any attending will suffice.

Spirit + Flesh UK – Fakir Musafar & Cleo Dubois in London 18 – 26 May 2007
Between 18th and 26th May, Fakir & Cleo will be in the UK for the first time in 12 years. They have put together a diverse programme of events to showcase their work. The events include:
Friday 18th May - Initiation performance at Torture Garden Body Probe
For TG Body Probe Fakir will create a unique suspension ritual performance with his partner Cleo Dubois, traci joy burleigh and Elwood – also featuring Lee Adams (KAOS), London Faerie and Kamelyan. This is Fakir's only public suspension performance during the Spirit + Flesh UK visit. Performance starts at 11.30pm sharp!

Friday 25th / Saturday 26th May - Spirit + Flesh UK Community Ritual
The visit culminates in a unique opportunity to participate in a Fakir ritual, never done before in the UK. This intense experience is not about pain or stoicism but rather a way to gradually shift your energy towards an altered state. It is a wonderful tool for sharing energy with others. You connect intimately with friends, lovers and even strangers pulling on your cords, tuning in to each other and experiencing group energy in a tribal ceremonial ring.
Whether you are an artist looking to expand your limits and find inspiration, a seeker looking to gain wisdom and understanding or just someone who is inexplicably drawn to the idea of taking part – this powerful experience is for you.
The Piercing Experience will take place on Saturday 26th May with a briefing the evening before.
