We've been seeing a lot of fake images posted here. Some say 'AI", I say there is no intelligence involved, just lazy fakes that use the works of others to cobble something together. Some are more obvious than others.

Lit has a policy on fakery that is applied mostly to stories, with many being rejected. ( https://www.literotica.com/faq/publishing/publishing-ai )

That is also in effect on the Visual Artists Corner. ( https://forum.literotica.com/threads/policy-on-artificially-created-images.1593507/ )

This is your chance to weigh in on images here on F&S. Aside from the obvious copyright issues, should they be removed from here?

They're not sexy to me.

As such, this could be a per-thread matter, kind of like how you don't post piss pictures in a thread about milfs.

People can start AI-pic threads so they can enjoy them with like minded people, and not pollute a thread of real photos or a thread of real art with off-topic AI-gen.

Stopping AI, is stopping progress. But so be it, I will go with the flow. ;)

Would be better if the women weren't given such ridiculous breasts.
Yeah, this. I swear fewer than 10% of the erotic stories here have women smaller than 38DD bras can fit properly. Yeah, maybe after a few kids and years it's common, but for most women, it ain't.

Am I alone? I don't need to know her size in a story unless it is narratively necessary (say in comparing wives).

Oh, and skip the AI unless labeled--so I can skip it. If it never existed to be touched, sucked or fucked, I have no interest because who can I imagine talking into letting me?

My husband like to fool around with AI with characters from movies and video games. Sometimes they are hot

I had a friend who made some interesting photoshop photos of me, using my real photos and adding them into interesting places. I was flattered and really like them! I'll post a few here... what do you all think? I've also had a friend do some AI photos of me.... and they were really pretty great, in most cases (not all... they still can't quite get hands right, which can be REALLY weird, haha!).

As for the AI ones- they came out like this:

(again, let me know what you think....)

I personally don't care one way or the other. There's a lot of things posted on here that aren't my cup of tea, but I don't want them removed if other people enjoy them.

I think we're not going to allow posting of fake images on a thread asking about whether or not we should allow posting of fake images.
Why would you, as a mod, even start a thread about whether or not "we" (Lit) should allow posting fake images if Lit policy is to not allow fake images, and you immediately deleted an AI image? Are you asking if the policy should be changed? As if we have any sway over Lauren.

In the last few months I’ve seen a marked increase in the amount of AI generated images on several platforms and I think it’s pretty cringy. I think that there should be something noted in the image, and/or the tags. I find it particularly disrespectful when the images are passed off as real photos. But I suppose that’s where we are in our technological age, and my disapproval makes me sound like a curmudgeon.

Edit… I also think about the value of freedom of speech. I don’t necessarily agree with every message, but there is an inherent and intrinsic right to freedom of speech. Some people might not like my profile picture but it’s me; who’s to say that it’s wrong. Is a hand written letter any more valid than a typed letter using a word processor?

I don't use this site much for visuals the way I used to so I haven't noticed. I'm guessing banning AI images would be just a short term fix because it's probably going to dominate very soon. I could understand its use for fantasy imagery like Roman or Medieval settings. Of course the danger is in use of real person's likenesses but at some point it's probably inevitable for us all.
