if we have to piss test people for a regular job, welfare, military. wouldn't it be fair to piss test doctors, lawyers, city council, county commision, representatives, congressman, and the president? my reasoning is if pot and other drugs are bad and impair judgement for one class of society, shouldn't the rest do it too? they do make a lot of decisions. lets make sure they're not high.

They'd have to be quite small for me to piss them.

On a similar note, why are their regulations on the number of hours truck drivers can work but not doctors?? I don't want someone who's exhausted from a 16 hour shift playing with my fucking health!!!

Medical errors kill more people every year than fucking GUNS do:

Accidental deaths 2007
Firearms 613
Medical care adverse effects 2,248

Fact-checked source -> http://www.politifact.com/florida/s...aims-more-die-accident-medical-misadventures/

But try and talk to the average person about this and you get "Doctors are only human they make mistakes tooooooo!" For what these fuckers get paid, I expect PERFECTION. Those same people probably flip out when the McDonald's worker forgets their fries.

if they did pass a law to test the other part of society, you'll know the ones on opiates and coca based drugs. they'll start trippin as they clean their system out for the test. that takes awhile.

The medical statistics that I found are different. I got them off of Wiki, but I think they are fairly accurate.

In the United States, figures suggest estimated deaths per year of: [18] [19] [20] [21]

12,000 due to unnecessary surgery
7,000 due to medication errors in hospitals
20,000 due to other errors in hospitals
80,000 due to nosocomial infections in hospitals
106,000 due to non-error, negative effects of drugs

Based on these figures, iatrogenesis may cause 225,000 deaths per year in the United States (excluding recognizable error).[18]

These estimates are lower than those in an earlier IOM report, which would suggest from 230,000 to 284,000 iatrogenic deaths.[18]

These figures are likely exaggerated, however, as they are based on recorded deaths in hospitals rather than in the general population. Even so, the large gap separating these estimates, deaths from cerebrovascular disease would still suggest that iatrogenic illness constitutes the third-leading cause of death in the United States; heart disease and cancer are the first- and second-leading causes of death, respectively.[18]

Every Pharmacy has to keep a log of prescriptions filled for the DEA...

I wonder what the result would be if the DEA cross referenced the music and movie elite with prescriptions frequency for certain drugs like Oxy, Valium ect...

I think a lot of Dr's would be going to jail.

You'd be shooting from the HIPAA.
