[Firstly, let me say...It's been awhile so I hope I dont stink up the SRP section too bad. This rp will be open through applications sent via pm only. There will be a set character list to choose from. If you want to bring in your own character speak with me about it via pm and we'll go from there.

Your character application should contain your intended introduction post only. The characters all have pictures so a description/bio wont be necessary. Thanks.

The content of this rp will most likely contain mild incest, s&m, orgy play, public humiliation, anthro/furry play, among others. If you arent into any of that and dont want to see it. This rp is not for you. Sorry.

The races in this rp arent traditional so please pay attention to the descriptions.

Okay, also if you are going to be gone or just want to drop out of the rp, please PLEASE let me know before hand. I dont want to wait for you to post only to find out you've jumped ship. If you want out, fine. Just let me know so we can take care of your character and not slow down the progress of the story.

I hate OOC threads, but also I want to keep the OOC talk here limited. If you have a question just PM me. If it's a general comment, please keep it brief. Thanks.

Enjoy your time here and keep it fun.]

Faewynd
Chapter 1: Winds of Change

The lands of Faewynd have been in turmoil these past hundred years. Wars have ravaged the world and people live in fear. However, a new chapter is about to begin, one filled with hope and possibility. An unsteady cease-fire has been agreed upon by the two factions of this great war. On one side, the humans, a dwindling population. On the other, the race of vampires. They were once men, until a disease made them outcasts. It caused them to become addicted to blood until it was the only thing that would sustain their bodies. Through time they evolved and developed unnatural attributes, such as longer pointed ears, sharp fangs and claws. Besides not sleeping they have no other outstanding abilities or weaknesses.

The vampires first broke away from the human race 500 years ago. Since then they have developed an entire society. One coven rules the population, like the royal family rules the humans. The vampires do not usually feed on humans, although it does happen. A system was put in place to cull their hunger. Out of this system sprang a wealthy business. Blood banks were founded, using animal blood processed and sold by the barrel.

The human King has passed away though, and with him his war mongering. The King's only son is now set to take the throne. His step-mother, the Queen, not able as she is a woman. Such are the laws that govern the royal family. The Prince is set to end this war and as such has brokered a cease-fire with the vampires. He has invited a representative from their coven to come to his coronation. In fact, invitations went out to all ends of Faewynd.

Nobles, merchants, warriors, knights, and scholars...People of all types have been invited to Islandir, the capital city of the humans. On the morning of the Prince's coronation is where the story opens. Guests have begun to arrive. The taverns and inns fill as travelers come from afar to meet the future king and to finally see the end of this horrid war.

The castle is abuzz with servants and slaves alike, going this way and that. All manner of haste as they help to prepare for the evening. Banners are flown, decorations go up here and there. The formal dining room is set and ready for the evening dinner. The gardens are trimmed, the floors polished. Eventually the preparations are finished, the castle ready to recieve guests for the evening.

Character List

I started you off, but on some things you will have to improvise. That is the test. Impress me, throw me a curve ball, make me laugh. That will get you into the srp. Good luck!

If you are not part of the royal extended family, all guests start their intro with arriving at the city, describe the day's activities and finally conclude your post by being summoned to the castle as the sun sets for the Coronation Ceremony. Have them take their place in the throne room awaiting the Prince's entrance. Thanks.

Also, more will be added as needed. Thanks.

1. Prince Xell Errison - Taken (Me.)
Next in line for the throne. His coronation could change history.
2. Queen Errison - Taken
Xell's step-mother. A snob, quite taken with the lavish lifestyle.
3. Prince Sol Maiar - Open
Heir to the Vampire throne. Sent as the coven's representative to end the war. Very cunning and intelligent. Firm and unyielding demeaner.
4. Princess Neiru Maiar - Open
Sol's younger sister. Tagging along with her brother to see the sights. Very intimate and seductive natured.
5. Yamamoto - Open
Sent to be the representative of a small eastern warrior tribe. Soft spoken and kind, but deadly with any bladed weapon. Most skilled of the tribe and is oblivious to Himika's feelings.
6. Himika - Open
Accompanying Yamamoto to the coronation. Second strongest in the tribe. Outspoken and proud, but shy underneath. Has deep feelings for Yamamoto, but is a virgin although she'd never admit it.
7. Brock - Open
A pirate by any regard. He is first mate on the ship Maelstrom. He is in town by coincidence with his captain. Daring tease and all around expert in breaking women's hearts.
8. Captain Mary Morgan - Open
Born with a disease that slows her physical growth. At 35 she looks barely 18. Has made her way in the world, even commanding her own ship, the Maelstrom. Despite her looks, Morgan has become one of the most feared pirates in the sea. She is fearless, but not stupid. A merchant at heart and a smooth talker.
9. Cuo - Open
Xell's personal slave. She is a Lycan. A slave race of half wolf/dog, half human creatures. Besides the ears and tail, she is just like a normal human except that she goes into heat unlike normal human women. Be it coincidence or not, that time is near and before she knows it she'll be unale to control her desires.
10. Dragen - Open
Captain of the Guard of Islandir and Xell's best friend. He acts as his personal bodyguard and commands the Prince's entire armed forces. He's very shy around females and fumbles words when trying to talk to them. Because of this he is still a virgin. Besides his female troubles, Dragen is a very confident swordsman and strategist.

Queen Rilah Errison

Queen Rilah Errison sat in her plush red velvet chair, staring out the window of her quarters at the calm waters below. Today was supposed to be a great day in Islandir history, the coronation of her son... ahhh, stepson, Xell. Looking at the Queen's face, however, a person would not see joy. She continued to wear the black dresses of mourning for her deceased husband and king, her words to the servants even sharper than usual over the past few weeks, and her demands growing in number as the days to the coronation grew shorter.

Rilah tried to present herself in a joyous manner in Xell's presence... but she was certain he could see through the mask. Did she care any longer? Not really. He obviously knew it was nothing more than an act. It wasn't that she held anything against him personally for him taking the crown- She just didn't want to lose the life of luxury she had become accustomed to. The King had given her such a change from her youth. Nothing more than a peasant girl when he first met her... and then to have the King as a suitor, to be treated like a princess, then become his queen... She was no longer some poor urchin thanks to him. She had power, money, everything her heart could ever desire, and a man who doted on her hand and foot. Her former life seemed something of bad dreams now, something she refused to admit was ever part of her past.

"Your Majesty..." The soft voice of a servant girl caught her ear, turning slightly to glance at her. "You should change to the royal robes soon, Your Highness. You will need to greet the visitors with Prince Xell."

"I know that," Rilah snapped, getting up and storming past the girl. "Go bother him, not me. Send someone who knows what they're doing, not someone with such a smart mouth to them. Telling the Queen what to do- Get out!"

The girl stammered to find words, confused by the Queen's outburst. "Queen Rilah, I meant nothing by that, just that-"

"Don't refer to me by my name! Get out! Get the hell out!" Her voice grew louder as she plucked off one of her shoes, throwing it at the girl as she ran out of the room. "Send me someone competent who can keep their damned mouth shut!," she shouted after her, slamming her door closed.

Xell smirked, the wind pushing past him as he looked out over his city. He stood at the highest point of his castle, a lone tower ascending from the great palace. He could see the many caravans, coaches, and wagons entering from all three gates. Most accompanied by several attendants on foot or horseback.

The streets were packed it seemed, his people preparing for the ceremony. At the thought he sighed. It was about time he headed down to ready himself, but being up here in the morning air, the quiet cool air. Maybe he wasnt ready for this, but it was what must be done...for his kingdom, for his people. He had to think of them first. He had to end this tiresome war.

Xell lazily made his way down to the castle's main lobby. The castle seemed to be in a controlled chaos. Servants walked hastily too and fro, maids cleaned, butlers escorted guests to their quarters. It was much to take in to see the place so busy. The prince looked around at the banners placed, displaying "Long Live the King" and "Welcome Guests to Islandir." It was something that brought a smile to his face.

This truly would be a night to remember it seemed. He wondered when the representative of the Vampires would arrive. The thought drifted away as a servant girl crashed into him, her eyes full of tears. He raised a brow as she backed away in fear.

"I'm s-so sorry sire!"

Xell shook his head and held a finger to her lips.

"Shh...what troubles you so?"

She blinked a few times before gulping and offering him an answer.

"T-the Queen..I made her mad..I-I didnt mean t-to I swe--"

Xell once again shushed her, setting his hand gently upon her head.

"It's alright, I'm sure it wasnt your fault. Now go clean yourself up."

He offered her a smile as he watched the poor girl walk off as if in a daze.

Several minutes later found Xell just outside his step-mother's chambers. He knocked once before entering. He moved to her bed and took a seat, not seeing her anywhere. The bathroom door was closed so he assumed she was there. He stood and strode across the room to the door, knocking once as before but not entering. He just stood just outside, speaking plainly.

"So I'm told you're giving the servants grief...something about 'not living up to your expectations?'..."

He turned about, leaning his back against the wooden door with his arms crossed.

"You know...you didnt have to throw something at her."

He gave a chuckle, seeing the lone shoe on the stone floor and assuming the worst.

Rilah gave a soft scoff as she heard Xell outside the door, adjusting her dress slightly so that it rested well against her chest, checking in the mirror to be sure everything was in its place. She would much rather do it all herself than have the servants' attempts at help ruining anything...

"And is it so wrong for me to have high expectations?," She called out, opening the door and frowning at his comment on throwing things. "It was only a shoe. You make it sound like I was hurling chairs down the halls." She gave him a glance as she bit the side of her cheek, going around the bed to take up her crown from the table. Resting it atop her hair, she smoothed the stray pieces with a check in the mirror, using the reflection to look at Xell. "I suppose its nerves. I just want everything to go so... smoothly for you today." She hadn't intended for the hiss to come out in her voice.

She turned back around, resting her hands against the desk as she looked at him head on. "I don't appreciate the newer help coming in here like that, trying to order me around. If anyone's giving orders, its me, to them. Not the other way around. Someone needs to teach that girl whose in charge in this castle. There is always a chain of command, and she is quite far to the bottom." With a soft huff, she turned back around, slipping on her other shoes.

"You may be older than I, but you've still got alot to learn about ruling."

He simply smirked, watching his step mother as she slipped on her shoes. Her corset pushed up her large breasts, which were already barely contained. He had to admit, she was quite the sight. Xell moved to her window, looking out on the gardens below.

"One should rule through respect, not fear. Kindess, not ruthlessness."

He rested his hands behind his back as he turned about, too look back at his step-mother, the Queen. He took a few steps towards her, now just across from where she stood.

"Do you respect me mother?"

He canted his head to the side and narrowed his eyes.

"Because if you dont...maybe it is you who should be punished."

He waited a moment, letting the thought sink in before he stepped forward, moving around her in a slow circle until he came before her again, facing towards the window.

"Should I follow your example? Respect through fear?"

He stepped around her again, his eyes gazing over her figure as he circled back infront of her.

"...or would you rather me be ruthless?"

His arm moved from his back and a lone finger trailed from the center of her stomach, between the valley of her cleavage and up her neck to her lips.

"Well? How should I rule you mother?"

"Everyone has their ways of ruling, Xell. Some go down as fierce commanders, others, soft hearted lovers of their people... Though I can't imagine they're that way all the time in their lives."

Rilah glanced behind her as her stepson circled about the room, taking up her encrusted belt and starting to wrap it about her waist. At his question, her eyes raised, surprised at such a thought. "Xell-!" She stammered a bit on a response, trying to form the words...

"You are my son, albeit by marriage. I respect you as the prince, and the soon to be king. However, I do think there should be some respect towards ME in there as well as your mother."

She glanced down again to the clasp on the belt, only to find his finger gliding up her skin. She shivered at the touch, taking a step back as she realized what had just happened. "Xell, what... what are you doing?," She asked softly, giving him a confused glance.

"When asked a question, it is rude not to answer it."

He stepped forward, letting his hand move to join his other at the small of his back. He moved again, he was now only inches from her.

"Being rude is a sign of dissrespect mother."

Xell stood just as tall as her, his eyes played in her own. He smiled, rising on his tip-toes to kiss her forehead before backing away, his eyes closed and he smiled wider than ever.

"You wouldnt dissrespect me would you?"

He let one hand move away from his back, rising up to graze her cheek. Seconds went by like minutes, and minutes slowed to hours it seemed. Until suddenly Xell stepped back, wearing a coy grin.

"Ha! Kidding of course."

He walked away from her and out into the hallway, his mind abuzz with countless possibilities. She would come to his terms and bend to his will. It was a matter of patience and cunning. Tonight would be the perfect opportunity for him to test his theory.

Some time passed and Xell soon found himself relaxing in the castle's hot springs. The natural flow of the river offered the perfect waters for bathing and relaxation. He sighed, leaning back on the rocks of the man-made springs. The water felt good, warm to the touch. Steam rose from it's surface. His mind drifted yet again to his step-mother. He wondered where she was and what she was thinking.

He chuckled to himself, letting one of his hands dip under the water to touch his erect manhood. It seemed the mere thought of her under his control as King, gave a rise to him.

"...ahh, curiosity you cruel tempress."

Yamamoto

Yamamoto eyed the great city of Islandir with both awe and discomfort. He was not used of such grandeur and the crowds was unsettling. Having left the Koga clan to visit such a city had been an honor but also quite scary. The village of The clan was very small in comparison. He looked beside him at his female companion.

"It is big right." He murmured. He steered his steps down the street. his eyes scanned all the peaple they met and he occasionally nodded in respect as they where greated by the commoners. He felt the hunger ache in his stomach and was determined to find something to eat.

"hmm, let us find a place where we can eat." He said to Himika. He stopped a young shaggy looking man.

"Where can my companion and i find something to eat my good man?"

The young man looked strangely at the couple's outfit before he told them where to find the tavern.

Yamamoto followed the directions and smiled as he saw the sign the man had told them to look for.

They went inside and he halted right inside the door. More crowds. How he hated crowds. The only crowd he felt comfortable with was his own men, and they where many miles away. Yamamoto sighed and hesitantly walked over to the tavern keeper.

"I was told we could eat here?" He asked, hoping the young man hadn't played him for a fool as he did not seing anyone else eat. He just saw plenty of men drinking a brownish liquid and some of them behaved very strange.

"That is right." The tavern keeper said with a smile as he let his eyes wander down the strangers strange outfit.

"We serve potatoes with the house stew today. A very good dish if i may say so myself."

Yamamoto nodded and went to the table the tavern keeper pointed him and Himika to. Soon two plates where brought to the table by a busty redhead. Yamamoto looked at the food with suspicion. If it could be called food. How he missed rice and fish. These foreigners had a very strange taste. The pale looking potatoes and the brownish mess that covered the plate looked very disgusting. Potatoes, must be some sort of fruit he thought to himself and looked over at Himika.

He tasted a bit of potato along with some brown mess and had to admit it was not that bad. It tasted better than it looked. Soon he had made short of the meal and stood up.

The doors flung opened and a man walked inside. He was very well dressed and headed straight towards Yamamoto and Himika.

"Are you Yamamoto from The Koga warrior clan." He asked in a tone that said it was unesessary to ask.

"That i am and this is Himika." Yamamoto said with a tilt of his head.

"Then i will be your escort to the castle. Welcome to Islandir. I hope your travels went without problems." With a smile the man leads them outside.

Rilah wasn't sure what to make of Xell's 'little joke' as he left her room, her heart still racing from the softly spoken yet harsh words he had given her. And the kiss to her head- what was that all about?

She watched as he headed down the halls, still trying to sort it out in her mind... Perhaps this was his way with the stress of the day. Yes, that was it. That was all. Just... stress. Still, she was having a hard time focusing on her own tasks as she stumbled around her room. She had yet to get the belt on, carrying it in her hand as she took to the halls sometime later. Had she been leery of finding Xell again? She wasn't sure of that.

"Your majesty?"

Rilah almost jumped with the soft voice, turning around to find the girl from earlier that she had thrown the shoe at. "Yes?," She snapped, then took a breath as she closed her eyes. "I'm having a very stressful day right now, so let's make this quick, could we?"

"I was just... going to offer my help... with your belt," the girl said meekly, pointing to the gold line in the Queen's hand. "You seem to be shaking, I thought that I could-" She went quiet as the belt was shoved at her, Rilah's eyes still closed.

"Fine then. If anyone is looking for me, I'll be in the gardens after this. I need some time to myself." Xell's words from earlier came creeping back to her mind... How should I rule you mother? What had he meant by that? Had he actually-

"There you are, Your Highness. Enjoy the gardens, it smells quite wonderful out there."

Rilah glanced at her, not saying anything before heading outside. Strolling through the long aisles of the gardens, she took a soft breath. The girl may have been irritating to her, but she was right- it did have a beautiful fragrance out in the grounds today. Her eyes strayed across the blossoms, shaking her head slightly as she thought about Xell. He had actually frightened her a bit... But it must have been nerves making him say such things, being so close to becoming King. Part of her was worried on what he planned for her- He wouldn't make her leave the castle, would he? No, he wouldn't do that... Her stepson had far too kind a heart to force her out, she was sure of it.

Guests would be arriving soon. Working her way towards the front of the castle, she plucked a few flowers as she passed and waited for the first of Xell's audience to arrive.
