Do you prefer it?
Or do you prefer to continue writing up the intimate scenes in detail?
Or do you prefer a little of both depending on the mood and placing of the scene in the story?

I like the latter myself. I think sometimes a post can be as sexy and hold its place in the particular mood of a story against a more graphically written collection of interacted intimate posts.

Some stories or scenes call for gritty, carnal, dirty, raunchy sex. Dripping with nasty adjectives.

Not all. But I suppose given the choice, I'd rather not fade to black. I understand the reasoning, but often the sex is one of the focal points of the story. In that sense I call it important.

In a text bang, sex is the driving issue of the story. I'd class it important there as well.

But Fading does have it's purposes as well.

Well, being sexual role play, omitting it seems.... Conflicting?

There are some cases for it that I understand and have used, like the actual storyline waiting for you- a group game where everyone's now waiting for the horny duo upstairs to hurry it up. (Worse yet is the partner who poofs the moment pants come off. Yeah, that gets the fast forward.)
