My Brother turns 30 in about four days.

I've been sending him fun facts about the age of 30. Well, fun for me.

For instance, most people who get hemorrhoids, get them after the age of 30.

Stuff like that.

Does anybody know any? I'm running low.

I wish I hadn't opened this thread now.

I'll be 30 on the 10th October (yes, yes that was a blatant hint) quite looking forward to it actually.

English Lady,

People talk about your early twenties being the best time of your life.

For me and everybody around my age (34), it's early thirties all the way, most fun ever.

30 is when you realize you don't have to keep trying so hard to prove yourself. You can party, now.

And hemorrhoids aren't so bad. Some tucks and a sitz bath should take care of it.

I don't worry about age to be honest, time passes, it's what it does. :) Im not quite sure where all the time went though, I swear I've skipped a year or two ;)

:rose:

Wait until you get to be my age and years only have 7 or 8 months and the months are down to like 20 days. Getting older is like going at light speed. the older you get the more time compresses.:eek:

That was me, EL

I hate when I go to check Sarah and my scores and forget to log out. DUH!

Always wise to remember the Five P's of gift-getting.

Prior Prodding Prevents Poor Presents

By-the-by, I do recall turning 30, but it is a VERY vague memory so I have no wit and wisdom to pass on concerning the event.

Rumple Foreskin

Ah, the 5P's yes, I like it.

And I  rumply, always.

I've read that your chances of finding a mate are drastically reduced after you hit 30. Not sure why that would be the magic number though.

I think you're right about early to mid 30s being the best years. They were for me too.

i still have a bit over a year left until i turn thirty. and the thought is still a bit strange...

Turning 30 wasn't as bad as every year since. I keep looking forward to it less and less each year...

I turned 50 in March, so 30 seems like kid stuff to me. :)

My experience has been that women seem to come into their own at around age 35, and the mid-30's was a truly lovely time for me and for many of the other women I've known. All you 30ish folks, the best years are still ahead of you!

30 is still so young! When I was 30, I wish someone had told me not to take things so seriously.

Forty around the bend. Yikes!!

Turning 30...hmmmm...I vaguely remember that...seems like a lifetime ago...wait a minute...it was!

When you get the kind of miles I have on my odometer, every day's a treasure and you're glad you're you. Actually, I'm in better physical shape now than when I was in my 30's.

It all balances out I guess. ;)

THIRTY was 30 years ago. Is this a trick question?

I liked pussy 30 years ago, but I cant recall why.

Now not only am I not "young" anymore, but I'm destined to be a spinster. I turned 30 six days ago and now I'm more depressed than I was on the actual day. Sigh. :(

best time of your life... blah blah blah...

someone pour me a drink! It looks like I'll be drinking alone...

(okay, I'm really over it, I swear!)

I never had much chance of being in a relationship before I was 30.

Now I put relationships in the same category as winning the lottery. Nice to dream about but I don't plan my life around them.

I think 35 is about the best age. You're still young enough that the infirmities of old age haven't set in, but you no longer have many illusions.

I'd like to be seventeen and know what I know now :).

God, really? Nobody would take you seriously, because you'd be only 17. The people who were the same age as your body would seem kinda raw and unfinished and silly to you, but people who were the same age as your mind wouldn't take you seriously as a partner. I think it would be horribly frustrating to be 17 with a middle-aged brain.
