Arnold's last act on leaving office was to reduce the sentence of former California Assembly speaker Fabian Nunez' son's murder conviction from 16 to 7 years.

I haven't stopped by for a few days but I'm assuming there was or were threads on here on the issue, so I won't get into the specifics of that outrage.

However, what many people (especially those outside California) might not know is what this wonderful friend and ally of Arnie, Senor Nunez, really stands for. He's an Atzlan militant, organized labor thug turned corrupt politician. Here's some background:

in October of 1994, Nuñez and his militant colleague Juan Jose Gutierrez of the group One Stop Immigration, coordinated a rally of 70,000 immigrants against Proposition 187. Protestors waved Mexican flags and displayed an American flag with only 13 stars. They called Governor Pete Wilson a pig, compared Prop. 187 to Hitler's laws against Jews and told "Anglos" to go back to Europe

[Nunez believes] Mexicans are a "mystical race" or a "special people," ...Nunez sees class struggle on ethnic lines, not economic divisions... the proletariat is entirely Latino and "raza" (race), while the ruling class is "anglo," "gringo" and "redneck

While serving as Speaker in 2004, Núñez made the controversial decision to not allow a 4th of July ceremony featuring a talk by retired Rear Admiral Jeremiah Denton to take place on the floor of the California State Assembly. In 1966, Denton, a Vietnam War veteran and POW, and former US Senator, was interviewed during his confinement and blinked in Morse code to spell out the word "torture." ... Assemblyman Jay LaSuer had invited Admiral Denton to speak, but Nunez claimed that there wasn't time for to celebrate America's Independence Day on the floor on the Assembly. However, time was made to hold a ceremony honoring a retiring Los Angeles Times reporter on the day of the planned 4th of July ceremony. While Cinco de Mayo, St. Patrick's Day and Chinese New Year's had been celebrated on the State Assembly floor for several years in a row, the 4th of July had not been

On October 10, 2007, the Los Angeles Times reported that Núñez had allegedly spent tens of thousands of dollars of campaign money for personal expenses, such as $1800 for a meal at a Parisian restaurant and $5000 for wine from Bordeaux.[7]The Sacramento Bee has alleged that Núñez played the race card when questioned about his use of campaign funds by saying, "Everyone's done it like this", and "The difference is there are some in politics who want to judge me in a certain manner. Because of the fact I am Mexican, they think I have to sleep under a cactus and eat from taco stands."

I am proud to say I didn't vote for the Governator either time.

History, yet again, vindicates me. ;)

Cool, tell that to your fellow right wing bigoted fucktard, vetteman because he did.

As they say, profanity is a weak mind trying to express itself forcefully.

Thanks for proving the point. ;)

You're advocating censorship on a board that promotes itself about being for free speech. Thanks for being such a dumb fuck.

Yeah...but the board rules also state you must be 18 to post.

So, why don't you go away for 3 or 4 years and come back when you're legal?

:D

I didn't say anything about board rules so the word "also" should not be in your sentence, dumbass. Fuck, talk about picking low hanging fruit.

Nothing out of California surprises us any more...

You'd get *shrug* if Charlie Manson was released.
