Would anyone be willing to contribute to stories if they were posted on the message board.

The format of the stories would go back to the roots of Choose Your Own Adventure. Each thread would be numbered and at the end of each one it would say "Go to Thread Number..." Threads could be submitted by private message or e-mail to the editor. He/she would put the approved ones on the board.

It would give a chance for unapproved stories to be seen.

Anyone want to give it a try if I start a story here?

I agree that we could use the message board to get around the need to wait for an update, but couldn't you just use the CHYOO system and link to the unapproved story on the message boards? I have added to and had threads approved in other peoples' unapproved stories in this way. The only problem is that so few people know about this message board that it not much action happens.

Some people have said that they are worried that Chyoo will disappear and won't add threads for that reason. This board isn't going to disappear so maybe people will be reassured and will write something.

I've got an unapproved story "A Cruise ship holiday for singles" that I'm still waiting for people to add threads to. Hint Hint!

If they close the doors on Chyoo, they would more than likely shut down the Chyoo forum. I mean without the website, there is no use for the forum. But then again, with out a link between the two there is not much use for the forum either. lol.

What's the word on Chyoo.net? Did Ofhabit leave us? Couldn't members use that site? Although as far as always being there, that doesn't leave much promise either. I guess we're just stuck! Blasts!
