Experiences with non-native writers

Hi,

i am Killozap from germany, i have written some stories in the german part of literotica and am planning to write some stories in english language. I don't want to translate my german stories, i plan to create new ones with comparable fetishes and ideas.

What are the experiences with people writing in english beeing not their native language? Are such stories appreciated or hated? My english is not bad and i have written some stories in an other forum concerning other interests, and thei were liked there. But in that case the number of writers and stories was very small. But my english is not perfect, i think...

You're going to get a lot of opinions, but you would not be the only non-native speaker submitting; however, I've found their English to be better than mine.

If you're going to do it, you need to team up with a really good editor to clear up any spelling, grammar and punctuation issues and also help you with syntax. Other than that, why not give it a go? Can't hurt to try one or two stories.

I have uploaded a strory already, but is pending at the moment. Hope to get answers if i need an editor or if not to correct my english...

A look of dawning realization spread across his face then he smiled at her. He noticed how cute she was and began to imagine her as his next heroine.


Seriously, just go begging for an editor on the editor's forum, someone will step up and help you, and they're all very nice.

There are a couple of native Germans who have posted English stories who visit the Author's Hangout. They may be able to offer some insight.

I am in awe of people who can communicate clearly in more than one language, I have enough trouble being clear in my own!
