I have contacted several volunteer editors and gotten no responses. Below is what I submitted. Have I asked for too much?

Message:
"I have extensive writing in government and book reviewing. I have never written a fiction story or one with dialogue.

I have a 4 part story in the mature, incest, and romance categories.

I have interested in feedback on:
1. Does hold enough appeal to justify submitting it to Literotica?
2. Proofreading can be tedious for an editor. Are there so many such errors that I should withhold submission until completing much more extensive proofreading? It seems I can read years later something that I wrote and even published such as a book review and find proofreading errors ...
3. Do you see any serious plot or such errors?
4. Your ideas for changes?

The story is in Word.

I thought that submitting to a few editors would be good. I have not received any response from the first contacted editor.

What is the best way to get the story to you? Do you have any other requirements?
Thank you in advance for your assistance."

I wouldn't mind taking a look.
Generally once one find an editor they wouldn't mind working with/find acceptable one would open a private dialogue through the PMs but that would require both users to have "allow PMs" checked within the user cp under "edit options." Once the dialogue is open, emails are exchanged and the document in question is sent via attachment to an email.

I wouldn't mind taking a look, either. I don't see anything wrong with your message. It's actually better than the message I got from someone looking for help.

Maybe they weren't interested, or they haven't gotten around to checking their email?

If it helps, whether you accept my offer or not, I've found errors in every story I've read on Literotica. I wouldn't worry about getting your story absolutely perfect. Even polished authors will have slight oversights.

I've also seen stories that have multiple editing credits. Don't feel like you have to pick just one right away, or work exclusively with one going forward.

I can act as beta reader, and help you with your points #3 and #4. Please turn your receive private messages option in your profile settings. It helps the editors who are interested to contact you.
