My wife recently expressed a fantasy. I looked for an existing story that matched, but couldn't find one. So I joined the discussion board to see whether anyone knows of one, or can write one.

Her idea involves two men, with an exhibitionist twist. But, she's not interested in being unfaithful, or in seeing two guys. What turns her on is the idea that she has man #1, while man #2 can only watch and be jealous of what she has, and he can't.

The basic idea is exhibitionist, but not for purposes of being with the second man, or to get the men together.

I suppose this could as easily work with the observing man being jealous of what the active man has -- her -- but she seems to get the biggest charge from the idea of her having what he doesn't.

If someone wanted to run with this, our marriage also enjoys a Queen/knight dynamic. She loves the idea of me as her loving servant, very focused on pleasing and protecting her.

This perspective seems out of line with the usual FMM material, where the woman usually plays a secondary role: either as means simply to get the two men together (bi); or as a surrogate to receive the love of the second man, while the first is denied (cuckold). This perspective would require the woman to play the central role. That said, I suppose it could be written from a variety of voices other than hers.

So, if any knows of any existing story along these lines, please let me know. Or, if anyone feels like writing one, I'd very much look forward to reading it and maybe presenting it to my wife.

Totzman, thanks for the link. What would turn her off about that story is that the woman is unfaithful. She's not turned on by the idea of being with another guy, or by making me witness that. She is turned on by the idea of being watched/desired by another, but having the power to deny.

So, the story would have to be something like where the person person (second guy) highly desires her, but can't have her, though he would be able to watch her - which would only heighten his desire, which would heighten her sense of power from denying him, etc.

These two dynamics would escalate together, i.e., the guy watching could get charged from being denied. The difference from the usual FMM story is that the watching guy is not the denied/cuckold husband or lover -- he is the wanna-be who can't have her.

I'm having difficulty to understand why the biggest "charge" to the wife receives is she is having sex with her husband while the third person is only able to watch. I think you touched it briefly. I think the biggest turn on for her is the attention she may get from others. It does not have to be during the sex with the husband. It could be just a normal course of day to day activities or a vacation at a beach.

Whether the third person is watching her having sex is irrelevant to her -- but it could add to the spice.

This is fundamentally correct, that the turn on is attention from others. That's a relic of an upbringing strong on people-pleasing perfectionism, and a strong competitive streak. So her dream life does consist of simply being watched and admired by others. (I don't know - maybe this is a core motivation of exhibitionism in general?) That may even be the biggest turn on, but she recently expressed it with the erotic twist. That spices it up in a way that is more interesting to me.

Your idea is not lame. It's simple, but could easily serve as the basic structure.

Thanks, I thought that might have been close to 'it'! This kind of a story might be rare, if the fantasy is that the 'Absolon' wins over Alison. One other structure that makes sense would be to create a status difference between the two - for example, making 'Absolon' just-turned-18, and to keep Alison married to her sexy husband. That way, perhaps the boundary of 'no touching, no cuckolding' could be fairly plausibly maintained, while still creating a sexy experience between Absolon and Alison (and, possibly, her husband. )

GrrlFriday, no, the fantasy is not that Absolon wins over Alison. That wouldn't work, because of the infidelity. Also, it is not about the voyeur winning over the object of his attention. It is about that object (her) triumphing over the voyeur, that is, having what he wants but can't have due to her superior power (partly her power to deny him and partly her power to seduce me).

(I spell-checked voyeur and now realize that's the wrong word, if it only means someone who watches others, who are unaware they are being watched. So, I'll switch to 'watcher' which is clunky but more accurate.)

What the watcher can't have is either her or her husband (me), or probably better, some combination of the two. So the watcher is best bi, although it could be written with a variety of orientations for this role.

My wife does often dream of generally being watched and admired by men, even in nonsexual contexts, as noted above in my reply to the private message. Sometimes, the men are either objects of her own attention, or objects of mass attention, like celebrities (e.g., George Strait and Stephen Colbert have played this part in her dreams). So, there would definitely be a charge from her just showing off and being desired.

The interesting part, which she expressed only recently, is that she would also be turned on by the idea of winning out over the watcher. Specifically, she brought up an old male lover of mine, who far pre-dated her, but about whom I've been honest. I think she likes the idea that I once had a male lover, but now I'm faithfully married to her. This not only plays to her competitive streak, but it also enhances her female sexuality, i.e., she is so fantastically, femininely, sexy that I willingly surrender to and serve her at the expense of all others. I'm just guessing at this explanation. But in talking about this recently, she specifically brought up this guy's name, and said the only three-way situation that would excite her would be if he were watching us.

In that context, she would not want me to be with the other guy, which would make me unfaithful, and she would not want to do him, either, which would make her unfaithful. She's been with a lot of men, so has no fantasy about that; she gets far more out of loving monogamy. That said, it's no surprise she is not turned on by the idea of me being with anyone else, man or woman.

So, GrrlFriday, your other suggested structure sounds much closer to what I think she fantasizes about. Status differences among all three roles would be fertile ground for creativity. Having 'Absolon' young offers possibilities (her as wise teacher, etc.), but, as noted above, in her dreams the watcher is often a well-accomplished celebrity (high status). Probably any combination would work for her, as long as the ultimate outcome is that she has the highest status.

For reference, one story that came close is "Blame Spartacus" by Laura Antoniou, in the recent anthology "Under Her Thumb," edited by D.L. King. The female character there loves having two men wrestle, with the winner getting the privilege to serve her. This rang a bell, not least because my wife, during high school, was a scorekeeper for the men's wrestling team. The character in that story says, "I desperately wanted two men competing to please me: one to win, and the other to suffer. For my pleasure. And while there is nothing aesthetically displeasing about watching two men engage in enthusiastic sex with other [not a view my would share], I would prefer that at least one be paying attention to me. While the other suffered."

I don't write stories, but through this conversation I've begun wondering that this might be a tough one. Maybe it's too much like a nonkinky romance novel to stir anyone's interest to write. I like reading stories here, but after a while one realizes how formulaic they are, and it's hard to fit this into a standard formula. And, while a good writer could create tension, where's the release, if in the end there's no breaching of boundaries? Going back to the Absolon idea, what's the equivalent here of Absolon burning his rival's ass with a hot poker?

I meant that the seemingly-more-discussed-fantasy is a 'male wish-fulfillment thing', where young, yearning Absolon is the protagonist and wins over Alison.

It does sound like something you might have to write yourself to get just right. Not because it's 'difficult' or 'tough', but just because you're writing it for someone in particular.

Maybe the tension is during the exhibition, instead of the unravelling of the situation?
